Both the Niners and Purdy need to be sensible. They need to offer him and medium level contract, as I'm not sure who they'd get who is better for the scheme, and he needs to take it, as he is a product of the structure and would likely fall apart elsewhere.

Wouldn’t Purdy being sensible mean he demand nearly every dollar he can get?  He turns 25 in a week, and he’ll have less than $3,000,000 in career earnings.  We just watched Tank Dell’s knee burst into flames on the field.  Go get your generational wealth while you can.  Those opportunities don’t come along every day.
