Allen playing with broken hand all along???

“Allen broke his non-throwing hand in the fourth quarter of Week 1's win over the Cardinals, going absolutely airborne for a touchdown run while being shoved by two players and landing on his hand. He immediately got up to celebrate, but looked at and shook his left hand.

Allen said after the game that he was “fine” and he missed no time. On the team's subsequent injury reports, Allen was listed as a full participant for each practice ahead of a quick turnaround against the Dolphins on a Thursday night.”

He’s worn the glove on that left hand when there was an issue, but then told the press the hand was completely healed but he continued to wear the glove out of superstition (coincided with his longest streak of not throwing a pick).
 

I do remember one game where it looked like he reaggravated it, but then said afterwards it was his funny bone and he was trying to weather a burning sensation. Don’t know if the left is still broken, but we do know Josh doesn’t cry over injuries or embellish them for sympathy like certain other QBs.

Does this surprise anyone. A couple years ago when he hurt his shoulder it was found out way after he didn’t throw a pass in practice for like 5 weeks. If that was Mahomes they’d be all over it to hype him up. Just like last week with sprained ankle

Could you even imagine if Mahomes had the same injury - the drama queen would have been dramatically wincing and holding it after every GD play for weeks while the media breathlessly debated whether he should just shut it down so precious Patrick wouldn't miss the playoffs

I’m not sure it was ever officially reported, but I think most here figured his non-throwing hand was broken.

On almost every radio network. WGR talked about it many, many, many, many, many,many,many,many times. Sal C reported it. Go look for it.... The day he started handing off the ball with his throwing hand they said it's broken. If you didn't hear this than you def are not tuned in.
