He hurt his right hand and had a right shoulder injury heading into the game. If KC beats Pittsburgh on Christmas, the battle for the No. 1 seed is over. If the Texans can beat the Ravens on Christmas as well, then the battle for the 2nd seed is over as well as all 3 teams chasing the Bills (Pitt, Hou and Balt) will be 10-6 and the Bills worst possible record would be 12-5. This would lock up the 2nd seed and there would be no reason to play Josh. IMO this is the only reason not to play Allen extensively against the Jets. The difference between playing the divisional round in Baltimore or Pittsburgh versus Buffalo is to big not to go all out to win next Sunday. Now if your scenario happens, Allen would still likely play in the first quarter just to keep his consecutive starts streak going. He could throw a couple of quick short passes and hand the ball off then hit the bench. 1 Quote

I don't know how you can watch the end of that game and think anything other than "The refs are trying to keep this game close". It was egregious. I'm not an NFL conspiracy theorist but I mean come on. Who had money on that game and badly needed the Pats TD? lol. 2 1 Quote

The bills were not covering before the touchdown so what difference did the TD make to gamblers? Was it the over/under? 1 Quote

If Denver loses that one, there is a good chance we are the 2, the broncos are out, and we play the bengals As the 7. Quote
Bob in STL Posted yesterday at 04:04 AM Posted yesterday at 04:04 AM (edited) When the Bills are good and the Pats* are down, they are still a pain in the ass to beat at times. Note to Bills: Never, EVER wear those Uni’s again. Same color /style as the 1960’s, 70’s, most of 80’s Patsies. Terrible. We won and I hate the Pats*. I always have since the days of Gino Capaletti, Babe Parelli, and Jim Nance. Edited yesterday at 05:20 AM by Bob in STL 1 Quote

Also, Tomlin is the perfect coach to play right into the KC game conservative approach that every team does and loses by 3 at the buzzer. Quote

Beat the jets, rest the starters week 18, and KC plays their backups the last week against Denver in which probably knocks out Cinci 1 1 Quote
Special K Posted yesterday at 04:09 AM Posted yesterday at 04:09 AM The Pats lost to the Bills like the drought-era Bills would lose to the Pats sometimes. They would look great in the first half, then just when you start to think "hey, they are finally going to beat them!!", they would make a few bone headed errors that the Pats would take advantage of. The fumble, the backwards pass fumble, and the red zone interception were the boneheaded plays that the Bills took advantage of to win the game. Love it that the Bills can now beat the Pats without playing their A game, or even their B or C game. In your face Pats fans..... Go Bills!!!!! 5 1 Quote

I hope you are right, but I am worried. That game is in Cincy, and burrow is playing great. The way the bengals look, I can’t even see the broncos getting within 2 TDs. Quote
