Harold Jackson Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Next week should be a tad more entertaining with Rodgers. Jets lost but Rodgers got some yards today Quote
GolfandBills Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago That’s a one and done in playoffs performance today. Gotta be better 1 2 2 Quote

Yeah, he got an unreal amount of calls go his way, but the bottom line is McDermott has proven time and again to play down to his opponents' level. Other teams didn't do what we did to KC and Detroit, and tonight was a big drop off from those games I’m still baffled by this claim…I’m not saying he’s without fault or anything like that but the bills win by double digits at a crazy high rate historically. They definitely do play down to the opponents level but it is considerably less often than a long list of other teams. messy division games especially in the first matchup of the year is a very common theme in the nfl on top of that. The lions and chiefs have two double digit division wins between the two of them (lions beat gb by 10 and Chicago by 17 in the rematch) Edited 13 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 Quote

Jets lost but Rodgers got some yards today I watched the game and the Jets D is struggling. After going up 6 - 0 on their 1st drive of the day the Rams outscored the Jets 19 - 3 the rest of the way. I suspect that the Bills will be a bit more up for this game as it will either be played with them still having a shot at the #1 seed or if KC wins a chance to lock up the #2 seed. Today's game was sort of in no mans land with respect to it's meaning. It also came after a tough, high profile 4 game obstacle course. 1 Quote

Without the D touchdown, the interception and the other fumble recovery, this would have been a loss because the offence could not score against a very weak NE Defense. Orlando Buffalo Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago We play like garbage for an entire half and still get the win, I am thrilled. Too many people forget we lose this game every single time in the past. 7 Quote
QLBillsFan Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago The MM would say this is a character win by KC. Even with all the breaks and ref calls. Bills had 2 to 1 penalties and won ugly. Long season … moving on! 1 1 Quote

Then again the defense was beyond bad during the first half allowing NE to go on two very long, time consuming TD drives that kept the O off the field and saw them not get their 2nd possession until the 2nd quarter. Like I said in another post BOTH units played poorly at times and played very well at other times. A loss could have been blamed on either unit and credit for the win could be given to either. Quote

The ball was frozen and hard to grip and hold onto for both teams… NE played physical AF. If you’re Buffalo, why lay it all on the line when you can just get by with an ugly win? Is it worth it to totally sell out and go into the post season limping? Is it worth it running through a wall beating up on irrelevant division opponents? Winning pretty is nice but it’s not gonna happen every week. 5 Quote

These are such moronic arguments-well if this, that, and this didn’t happen the Bills Would’ve lost. So if I play your game, if the Bills didn’t give up touchdowns on the first 2 drives they would’ve won 24-7. It doesn’t matter if those things didn’t happen, the reality is they did and the Bills won because of it Quote

Nah, it's because we had the lead. Cook wasnt playing in the beginning and I dont think we planned to use him much. Until it we were playing from a 2-score deficit and needed a jump start. So we sent Cook in to do his thing, he cooked, and then once we had the game back in control he went back to the bench. Just like we were doing on defense. 1 Quote

And Reid/Mahomes and the rest of the KC organization doesn't seem to give a crap that this approach pisses off some of their message board fans. 1 2 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago My take: The penalties at the end of the game were so ridiculous, I was actually cheering for Elam and the DBs to just PI every play until they ran out all 1:50 left on the clock on 1st and Goals. 3 1 Quote
GASabresIUFan Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Next week we may not see Josh against the Jets. He hurt his right hand and had a right shoulder injury heading into the game. If KC beats Pittsburgh on Christmas, the battle for the No. 1 seed is over. If the Texans can beat the Ravens on Christmas as well, then the battle for the 2nd seed is over as well as all 3 teams chasing the Bills (Pitt, Hou and Balt) will be 10-6 and the Bills worst possible record would be 12-5. This would lock up the 2nd seed and there would be no reason to play Josh. Edited 13 hours ago by GASabresIUFan 2 2 Quote

Big Turk Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Did I hear that right when they said the last home game the Bills lost in the regular season was the "wind game" to the Pats in 2021?? I know that can't be right...we lost to the Broncos on that too many men on the field penalty on the missed FG game. Edited 13 hours ago by Big Turk Quote

Gotta be better Yeah and it’s odd because the defense came to the rescue tonight, despite the coaching staff smartly managing injuries on that side of the ball. The offense was disjointed. Kind for the same questions - where is Cooper, Allen suffers another strange in-game injury. McDermott wasn’t thrilled in post game. Allen said it a few weeks ago against the 49ers, it might look cool, but its not fun to play in that. Edited 13 hours ago by Straight Hucklebuck Quote
