Babich just isn't ready for this role.  Defense has literally been a bottom 3 unit over the past month. 

 

McD needs to take control, Babich will have to put his pride to the side, he has plenty else to worry about

But he has the positional flex that defensive coaches love - to be a piteous victim at boundary corner, nickel, or safety.

Agreed... coaching decision that we could be fine without them. Another McD error.

Can’t wait for the “we played a top offense, what do you expect” crowd to explain this defensive debacle.  McD’s defense has been figured out league wide and its weaknesses are exploited to the fullest the last several weeks.

Our starting defense is trash. And we have 4 of them out, so it’s even worse.
