When you turn your head, naturally your body slows. When you catch up, you are supposed to look for the hands and reach your hand through the arms or chop across them to try to dislodge the ball.

Maybe, but this route on the edge he’s only going to one place. When he starts to move his arms into the catch position you have to turn and look for the ball. It’s a breakup or interception.

Jim "1000 yard state" Caldwell nearly had an undefeated season with Manning at QB.

Bad sign #2, Allen looks like he's been reading his press clippings, and forgot that taking the layups early leads to the big plays later. Both 2nd and 3rd down were forced downfield into way too much coverage like pre-2024.
