See this is a misnomer about players looking back. When in man to man coverage, you aren't taught to look back for the ball. When you are beat you speed through the hip to catch up. When you turn your head, naturally your body slows. When you catch up, you are supposed to look for the hands and reach your hand through the arms or chop across them to try to dislodge the ball.

Maybe, but this route on the edge he’s only going to one place. When he starts to move his arms into the catch position you have to turn and look for the ball. It’s a breakup or interception.

He needs to turn his head around

I am not an expert, but can you still run with at sam speed with WR if you turn your head around?

I'd say it is not that simple.

While trying to keep up with another professional athlete lol

Are you suggesting that good corners don't get their head around?

Coaching, special teams, defence and offence all off to a horrible start . Again

Yeah it’s terrible how we’ve scored 30+ in ten games and are 11-3.  What are we even doing

The curse of any great QB is a mediocre defensive minded HC

It's why Peyton Manning didn't win more rings. He kept so so coaches employed and they got outcoached in the playoffs.

Jim "1000 yard state" Caldwell nearly had an undefeated season with Manning at QB.

Spot on.

And then after Peyton went down, Caldwell struggled to win 2 games with no shortage of elite, all pro talent at his disposal.

Bad sign #2, Allen looks like he's been reading his press clippings, and forgot that taking the layups early leads to the big plays later. Both 2nd and 3rd down were forced downfield into way too much coverage like pre-2024.
