Setting new team & league records on a weekly basis. Sure, it’s great to hear everybody lauding our QB. But I’m gonna go in a different direction. Here’s a few new standards he’s set that never happened before: *He threw a 60 yard pass that took just 2.5 seconds from his hand to Coleman’s hands. Hardest throw over that distance ever recorded. *1st QB ever with multiple 5 game rushing touchdown streaks. *1st QB in NFL history with multiple 25+ Passing TD’s and 10+ Rushing TD’s seasons *1 game shy of scoring 30 or more points consecutively to set another all time standard. *1st player ever in NFL history to record multiple Pass TDs, multiple Rush TDs, 350+ yards passing yards & 60+ rushing yards in the same game. *1st ever player in NFL history with at least 2 passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs in consecutive games and 1st ever to do it 3 such times in a season. *1st player ever with 4 straight seasons scoring 40+ TDs *He has the most TDs in NFL history by a QB before the age of 29, 20 more than Mahomes and still has 3 more games to add to this record. This record may never be broken! There’s even more otherworldly data where these came from, but let’s move on to today’s game. This season has been absolutely crazy! We clinched our 5th straight Division title while Thanksgiving dinner was still being digested -without even playing the Patriots and only once playing the Nyets. Has this ever happened before? Play just 3 Division games and win the title?😳 Crazy indeed. Well, the Pats* are here today, with 1st year HC Jerod Mayo showcasing a 3-11 record on merit. There are rumblings this may be his last year on the job.. Rookie QB Drake Maye has been solid, if unspectacular. He’s shown good fundamentals, poise beyond his years and can move well. Their OL is frankly considered the Leagues worst, thus Maye runs a lot. We’re going to see how well the Bills Defense plays against an ‘Allen-like’ scrambler. They should be well acquainted with it. If Mayo is indeed ‘encouraged to seek employment elsewhere’ at seasons end, the kid will have to start from scratch again next year. But many of their losses have been of the one score variety, so this game is gonna take a solid Bills effort to keep our faint hopes alive for the #1 seed. If I had my ‘druthers’, I’d sit everyone and play the Jills instead. Late season Injuries have derailed our previous few seasons and these remaining 3 games are virtually meaningless regarding playoff seeding. Given they’re against the Pats* & NYets, I give the ladies even odds to win at least one game..🤷♂️ From our perspective, the Defense responded well to League wide criticism following the egg they laid against the Rams, thoroughly owning Detroit despite giving up ‘meaningless’ late scores. They showed a committed effort throughout and with an early 2 score lead, were able to dictate the flow. Welcome back, Ed Oliver! btw. Cole Bishop looked much improved as well. Offensively, the story begins and ends with this guy: His performance earned him his -I dunno, like one hundredth AFCPOTW award as well as POY awards from SI, NFL POTW and NFL Executive’s MVP of the year! The Bills entered this season espousing an “everybody eats” philosophy with Clark Kent spreading the ball to a wide group of players after the departure of Diggs and Davis. This approach has truly paid off so far with 9 players racking up at least 200 receiving yards and 12 players with receiving TDs -including Mr. Kent himself, who took a lateral from COOP after a reception and dove for the pylon in an award winning snow globe photo. This is His time. This is OUR time! 12th Win! Let’s Do This! National media hyperbole this week. It’s a wonderful time to be alive and a Bills fan! Guys, I know this is a hot take...but I'm starting to think this Allen kid is pretty good at football. 5 1 Quote

Coffeesforclosers Posted Sunday at 12:34 PM Posted Sunday at 12:34 PM This is the best possible game before the holidays. We've got cleaning and house prep for guests. I've got meals to cook for some friends who may have drank too much and spent the night in our guest room. The Pats are dog****...this is the perfect game to have on as background noise. I might even shut the TV off and listen to it on the radio. 2 1 1 Quote

I think Josh would rather take off and run than get sacked. Inflict punishment rather than taking it. So far this season 13 sacks lost 61 yards; 91 rushes 484 yards, 45 first downs. Quote

finn Posted Sunday at 01:16 PM Posted Sunday at 01:16 PM Not that I have any lingering resentment, no, but I would love to see the Bills run the ball on every single play and win, just to make a statement. Every. Last. Play. 1 1 1 Quote

MikePJ76 Posted Sunday at 02:11 PM Posted Sunday at 02:11 PM Hoping the bills suffocate the pats early like last years game at the stadium. Just take away any hope early of the upset and then manage the game. a nice 31-13 win is what they need today. Then let the Steelers chiefs came play out Xmas day. That should set the table for what it’s going to take to win the afc. 2 Quote
Solomon Grundy Posted Sunday at 02:11 PM Posted Sunday at 02:11 PM I wanna see the defense dominate the game today. Want to see the defense ramp up their play going into the playoffs. I believe this is the ONLY unit that will prevent the Bills from winning it all. 1 3 Quote

For those of us around for ‘The Greatest Game Ever Played” and grew up watching the person who adorns the trophy, dominate the NFL in the 1960s, we have seen some stunning HOF fantastic players, from all the critical positions. But this stuff is off the map, creepily weird and fantastic! Ever moreso, that we are his fans! Josh Allen's NFL records Records Josh Allen has accomplished or extended in 2024 First player since NFL-AFL merger with three passing and three rushing touchdowns in a game (Dec. 8, 2024 at Los Angeles Rams). First player in NFL history to record multiple career games of 340+ yards passing, 60+ yards rushing, 2+ passing touchdowns and 2+ rushing touchdowns. Allen has done it in back-to-back weeks, Dec. 15, 2024 at Detroit and Dec. 8, 2024 at Los Angeles Rams. Steve Young is the only other player to accomplish the stat line and he did it once in 1991. First quarterback in league history to record a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in a game (Dec. 1, 2024 vs. San Francisco). First player in NFL history with at least two touchdown passes and two rushing touchdowns in consecutive games, and the first player all-time with three such games in a season. Most total touchdowns in first seven seasons (258 and counting). Patrick Mahomes (231) is second and Peyton Manning and Dan Marino are tied for third (225). Fastest player in history to 250 total touchdowns (107 games, tied with Patrick Mahomes) Most career games with at least two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns (6). Most career games with three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown (9, shares the record with Tom Brady and Drew Brees). Most career games with three or more passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns (2, shares the record with Kordell Stewart) Most games in NFL history with at least 300 yards passing and 50 yards rushing (11). First player in league history with 35 or more passing and rushing touchdowns in five straight seasons (2000-2024). Only quarterback in NFL history with multiple streaks of five-plus games with a rushing touchdown. First player record at least 25 passing touchdowns and at least 10 rushing touchdowns in consecutive seasons. Kyler Murray and Cam Newton are the only others to accomplish the feat in one season. Most career games with two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown (24). Josh Allen records prior to 2024 season Highest passer rating for a quarterback in a single playoffs with a minimum of 50 attempts with a 149.0 passer rating in 2021 postseason, breaking previous mark of 146.4 held by Joe Montana in 1989. First player with at least 40 total touchdowns in four straight seasons (2000-2023). Allen has 37 total touchdowns in 2024, three shy of extending the streak to five consecutive seasons. Most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a season (15) in 2023. Jalen Hurts also had 15 rushing touchdowns in 2023. Set NFL single-season record with 11 games with a passing and rushing touchdown in 2023. Records Josh Allen is close to breaking Tied for second-most regular season wins by a quarterback in his first seven seasons with Patrick Mahomes (74). Only Russell Wilson (75) has more. Allen has 64 rushing touchdowns, one short of tying Thurman Thomas' 65 for most rushing touchdowns in Buffalo Bills history. ALL the more crazy & awe inspiring that we had to through virtually a generation of the worst of lowest low, wandering in the desert, buffoonery to find ourselves in this, pinch ourselves moment. Alien is simply the equivalent of Shohei Ohtani, the rarest of rare birds! He is a freakish combo of precision, rocket arm passing, dazzling power running and the game brain to decide, at the very last, out of bounds moment, to fire cross the body strikes, or blast through for a stretch out TV. We are SO fortunate to be around to witness this astonishing persona and trust that he can stay healthy enough to be one day compared to the greatest sports first names of all time… Babe, Tom, Mike, LeBron, Wayne… etc. 2 Quote
