SirAndrew Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) Quinn Ewers is a good QB, but i’d have a difficult time not playing Arch Manning. Doesn’t it seem like the football gods would have Manning lead that team to a title? Edited January 11 by SirAndrew Quote

Quinn will have to transfer if he wants to stay another year in college.  still, they will put in manning here and there I just think it’s a little toxic how much the fans prefer the backup Edited January 11 by YoloinOhio 1 Quote

DapperCam Posted January 11 Posted January 11 That was the one thing Ewers couldn't do to end the game, lol. Even a turnover on downs would have given them a chance for a stop and one more drive on offense. Quote
paulmm3 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) Ohio State's better. And Quinn Ewers holds the ball too long. Said it before but this is prob the worst year for QBs in the NFL draft I can remember.  Just now, Norcalbillsfan said: How do you call a pitch play from the 3?  Yeah that was also a horrible game losing play call. Draconator Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I can't see Notre Dame standing up against Ohio State. Quote
DapperCam Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Isn't the Manning kid a good runner? It was first and goal from the 1 yard line. Just sneak it 4 times in a row. Terrible play calling. Â 1 1 Quote
SirAndrew Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Watching Ewers and Allar is a similar experience. 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Cam Ward is the only QB from this draft that will be a starter in 3 years. These other guys don't have it. 1 Quote

The swing passes have killed Ohio all night, so you know the Ohio D has all eyes on the RB at the 3, and you call a pitch play.... im no Ewers fan but the loss is on that play call Quote
YoloinOhio Posted January 11 Posted January 11 They did take away Jeremiah smith but at what cost 1 Quote

Texas xould have had a chance otherwise. Still I marvel at how horrible this QB crop coming out of college is. Maybe Cam Ward is worth a first round pick, Shedeur in the second round, not sure I'd pick any of the others period. Quote

They didn't have to draft Ward at one - they could have let QB needy teams offer them a lot for it.  I wonder if the Titans will draft Ward? Edited January 11 by UKBillFan Quote
