Sadly I feel PSU talent is right up with anyone

Franklin is just horrible in big games - it’s really odd.

game against Ohio State you don’t do everything to get 44 the ball - it’s criminal really

It depends on Allar.  If he's on point with his passing, yes.   Franklin takes chances when he should be conservative and plays conservative when he should take chances.

This is the worst outcome for the 12 team playoff right? Not a single lower seed even being competitive?

I think this just proves that NCAA football is very top heavy. The top teams in the “best conferences” are far and away better than anyone else. This year you have Texas, OSU, Oregon, PSU, Georgia, and maybe Notre Dame. The ACC looks awful because they depend on Clemson and/or FSU, just as every conference depends on the top teams.

Maybe. Or it removes all doubt about the worthiness of the eventual champion.

Apparently Tennessee doesn’t belong, and the SEC is garbage. That how this works right?

There was always an argument that Tennessee didn't belong. Their best win was against a fraudulent Alabama.

A lot of us on here were beating the drum for Alabama over SMU in the playoffs.  Losing to Clemson should’ve bounced them out of consideration in my book.

Alabama didn't deserve to be in either.

Today didn't show that Alabama should have been in, it showed that 12 teams is too many. 8 was sufficient.

Watching will Howard try to run for 1st downs is so painful when I’m used to watching Josh Allen

Can Bills borrow #4 for the playoffs tho?

I guess IU shouldn’t have been in the CFP along with SMU, Tennessee and Clemson.  4 blowouts.  I thought 8 is enough and it’s proving to be the case.

it just proves the significance of home field advantage.  These should have been done at neutral sites.  Expect thrm to be done from neutral sites next year.

id throw these 4 playoff games into early bowl games

i also do not want conference rematches occurring until you get to the final 4.
