ghostwriter Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Allen is starting to become like Brady and Manning mentally, which is the biggest compliment that I think you could give him. 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Zero. Josh is 1 of 1 please stay with the Bills and play at this level for 10 more seasons too much to ask? Maybe how about 8 seasons? I’ve seen the future and Josh wins 3 Super Bowls with the Bills 😎 Quote
wppete Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Josh Allen is on another level. Must talented QB ever. Only guy he reminds me of is John Elway but Josh is far better. Quote
Another Fan Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Josh Allen of the Jaguars. I mean they have the same name and all..... 1 Quote

I can't quite go there yet. The absolute most important thing a QB can do is be able to read defenses. Look off safeties. Brady and Manning were the absolute best to ever do that. They were like OC's on the field. And they both had good enough arm strength to compete in shootouts where needed too. Quote

Josh has a higher completion % and Josh seems to actually getting better, while Cam's game began to deteriorate following his MVP campaign. Cam remained a good QB for the next 3 years, but never got close to the MVP season again. Josh is also the better QB and player, but the similarities and hard to ignore. The physical attributes are similar, but Newton didn't have near the ability that Josh Allen has to dissect defenses and make off script plays when necessary. Quote

He’s getting there though.. His brain is catching up with his arm.. He’s like 85% of the way there. Quote

Fortunately for us, he's one of a kind and the NFL may never see anything like him again. Yeah it's always been Elway to me. Right down to the trajectory that they throw/threw the deep ball. He didn't run for yardage nearly as much but that was a time when QB's could get destroyed running the ball past the LOS. Randall Cunningham had a huge arm but that's about it as a passer. Inaccurate, long windup, couldn't read a defense to save his life etc.. But he could throw those Russell Wilson moon balls. They resuscitated his career in Minnesota with Randy Moss. Allen can't really throw those. Very different players, IMO. Cam Newton was very similar to Josh as a runner but he never had the arm talent Allen has. Not even at his best. Quote

Not to mention Allen has better accuracy. Can read defenses a little better. Quote

Prime Cam Newton did not last long and Josh will have many more seasons on par with that. They do similarly rare things but Josh is slightly to solidly better at almost all QB things. Quote
