Big Turk Posted December 20 Posted December 20 This would almost be a sure TD with the way the Bills opponents stack the LOS to try and stop the Shnowplow that they have seen so many times... https://www.facebook.com/reel/1912700155928187 3 Quote

I like it. Quote

Rubes Posted December 20 Posted December 20 We usually don't have a RB lined up that far behind JA. He's much closer in order to give him a push. If we lined up with someone further back like that, it would probably be a giveaway...(not that it wouldn't work anyway)... 1 1 Quote

Agreed, Note how high and wide the QBs legs are, that would be a pretty easy to detect he is not going to do a QB sneak. If you dont have the high and wide legs, risk of snap hitting his legs are extreme and frought with danger. Edited Monday at 04:44 PM by RoyBatty is alive 1 Quote
Einstein Posted December 20 Posted December 20 In the same vein: I think we should be throwing on the QB pull more often. Keeping the defense honest about having to defend both the pass and run when Allen runs wide would be deadly. 1 Quote

They did that with Knox last game and he was uncovered downfield...still had to make a crazy one hander because he was so open Allen almost overthrew him but Allen made it look like it was a QB run to the outside again and just stopped and lofted up a pass to Knox instead. 2 1 Quote
peterpan Posted December 20 Posted December 20 I always liked the Bledsoe / mcgahee pitch myself. but I agree, the Bills should do BOTH of those plays, mainly to keep defenses honest we when do want to sneak it. It will make those snowplows easier 3 2 1 Quote
BRH Posted December 20 Posted December 20 We might not do this play, but I expect us to do something different out of the Shnowplow formation from at least a yard out when the defense goes big and we really need it. 1 Quote

MJS Posted December 21 Posted December 21 It's cool, but the Josh Allen QB sneak is such a high percentage play that it is perhaps too risky just attempting something like this. 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 21 Posted December 21 Teebow Jump Pass would be a an all-time great play! Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted December 21 Posted December 21 All fun and games until the snap ricochets off Allen's ***** and gets recovered by the defense. 1 Quote
Solomon Grundy Posted December 21 Posted December 21 I say try the UNLV fake punt/chest pass. It has to work with Sam Martin's slow mechanics Quote

Yeah, it might’ve worked with Kyle Orton since there would have been nothing in the path of the football… Allen’s big brass set would certainly impede the snap. 1 Quote
Inigo Montoya Posted December 21 Posted December 21 Anytime the ball is on the 1 yard line and they don't give it to Josh Allen to be pushed across the line makes my head explode. It's the highest percentage play in the playbook. Last game is a perfect example. 3rd and goal on the 1 and they try something stupid that fails and they get a penalty on top of it. Now it's 4th and goal at the 6 and Bass misses the field goal. They had two shots to push Allen's azz 1 yard for a touch down and got cute and scored zero points as a result. When it's 4th and 1, or if the ball is on 1 yard line, don't show me how clever you are, give it to your 6' 5" 245 lb QB and push him forward a yard. Period. 2 Quote
Mr. WEO Posted December 21 Posted December 21 would need long snapper...who would then get steamrolled Quote

Was thinking the same thing….. third leg impediment 😜 The Butch Rolle play. It’s there all the time. You’ve got the extra lineman in there, have him report as eligible and score with it. You succeed once and it’s one more thing they have to contend with. Edited December 21 by Buffalo Boy 1 Quote

Would have been the perfect play call at the end of the Rams game right before calling the time out. 1 Quote
