do fans from other teams come to this site to be rude, compliment the Bills, or add a little insight from the teams they pull for?

Yeah there are a few. Generally, they get eviscerated and disappear.

Savage, KJ is right.  The sad thing is of a person just admits he’s a KC fan like zero, they are more times than not treated with respect, and Zero is very respectful of our team.

 

Spags is just a spoof.  He actually grows on you if you don’t take him seriously.  It’s the dingbats who pretend to be a Bills fan, but proceeds to every undermining passive aggressive attempt to trash every aspect of the team, well good guys like KJ or myself call them out.  There are many others like Eball and so on that we come together.

 

I truly don’t mind if a fan of another team wants to add to the conversation.  Just be honest, and not a tool.

 

Anyway, things have been relatively calm lately.

The ones who advertise they are a fan of another team tend to go away fairly quickly.

 

It's the ones who try to pretend to be Bills fans that are really annoying.

 

Also the "jets fan" you are likely speaking of isn't a Jets fan.. it's a Bills fan pretending to be a Jets fan.

I go onto other teams boards, that we are about to play, during the year to read their perspective on the Bills. I don’t sign up or anything. Every other board has a handful of Bills fans and they are usually jerks.

I don’t get the opposing fans who come on and set up accounts and post frequently throughout the season. Why not just go to their own team’s message boards or sites?

I feel like we used to get MANY more opposing fans on the board - particularly a week ahead of the game w/ their team.  

 

There are hardly any here now.  Really, I can just think of a few from KC.  We had a Pats fan who posted here regularly (who was definitely not a troll), but I haven't seen him in awhile.

There are a couple of Chiefs fans who post quite frequently on anything Chiefs related. They are like moths to the flame, although one of them has not posted in awhile.

 

The Jets fan everyone is referring to isn't real. He is 100% a Bills fan pretending to be a Jets fan.

 

There used to be a Packers fan who would post here occasionally.

I really don’t go into other boards.  If someone sends a repost fine and will look at it, but I honestly don’t care.  
 

Fans are allowed on their board to say anything they want about any Bill or the team.  It’s their prerogative, but to commend many on this board, I am earnestly impressed with some on the board who provide insight, and unique perspectives.  You guys also find info, I may not see and it’s appreciated.

Tbh of all the sports boards I know and have been on this one probably has fewer trolls from other teams than almost anywhere. Probably because the url is twobillsdrive.com and it's not branded with like SBNation or some other big company that runs message boards for all 32 teams.

I miss HighFootballIQ and all the other Dolphins fans who pretended to be Bills fans. It seemed like they were all members of TuAnon and all they wanted to do was fluff the world's greatest QB*

Generally fans of other teams who come on the site to be rude get asked to knock it off, then airlocked by the mods if they don't 'cuz fundamentally this is a discussion board, not a place to *****-talk back and forth.

If they're subtle enough in their trolling they can manage to stay for a while, 

We've had fans of other teams that come here to swap insights and can be pretty good - there was a Ravens fan a couple years back who started out rude then stuck around for some good discussion.  Seem to recall a couple good Steelers fans too, and a pretty good Bengals fan.  And of course there are our resident Chiefs fans.

The one I'm really curious about is the Packers fan that used to come around here.

He was overly "aw shucks" and Wisconsin Nice. So much so that I truly couldn't tell if he was putting on an act or if that's just who he was as a person.

He also mostly wasn't here during Bills-Packers weeks, but just randomly here in general. Would pop in to say nice things about the Bills, and then disappear again. Was it schtick? We may never know.
