If the Broncos lose tonight, it gets wide open for the Bengals. 
 

Bengals play Broncos next week and then would have to hope the Chiefs don’t have the 1 seed wrapped up.

They play Denver next week and if they beat them, would only be a game back with the tie break.

 

Then would come down to the final week. Bengals against Steelers and broncos vs chiefs

You are actually correct.  I just looked at it again on the playoff machine.  I set everything to home teams winning.  Bengals do need to win out, including at Pittsburgh in week 18 which is possible if Pittsburgh rests starters.  Best to have Broncos win.  They face Bengals in week 17.

A Denver win tonight pretty much clinches a playoff spot for them with 10 wins. Chargers can lose tonight but have easy games against NE and Raiders remaining which would get them to 10 wins. Cinncy can’t get to 10 wins.

I looked at it again at the playoff machine and you are correct.  Pittsburgh could rest starters week 18 if they've clinched the division and give Bengals a pass.

Yep. And even if they somehow lose one of those games, they have the tie break over Cincinnati .

 

If Miami somehow got to 9 wins, not sure how it would shake out with a 3 team tie breaker though

It does clinch a playoff spot for Denver.  Chargers lose, the broadcast said they still have like a 76% to make the playoffs.
