You are actually correct.  I just looked at it again on the playoff machine.  I set everything to home teams winning.  Bengals do need to win out, including at Pittsburgh in week 18 which is possible if Pittsburgh rests starters.  Best to have Broncos win.  They face Bengals in week 17.

Playoff machine at NYT says Bengals go from 6% to 9% if Chargers win, and to 3% if Broncos win.

Ya they are in big trouble if broncos win.

As chargers would just need to win once against the raiders or patriots

Nix looks as good as anyone from this QB class.

I’d certiainly say he’s playing a very clean game in many facets. Not really being asked to do all that much right now but executing the plays they are running at a high level. I’d be curious to see how he’d respond under adverse conditions and isn’t operating with a dominating run game, clean pocket and short throws

Serious question, what are the thoughts of this Broncos team?

Legit now or just great growing pains and become legit next season?

They are pretty good. I think they can win a playoff game depending on their matchup. (Steelers or Houston)

But I don't think they would beat Baltimore, or the Bills in a matchup

I’d be super happy to play Jim Harbaugh’s team. He had a lot of miserable games playing in Orchard park as QB for Indy. I have no doubt what the outcome would be.

I watched a rewind recently of him getting violently assaulted by Buffalo’s defensive line when Bruce was in his prime. I give him credit for his toughness because he was absolutely abused on that old concrete Astro turf.

Sean Payton is a gifted offensive mind and would pose a much bigger challenge.

IMO the ineligible man downfield needs to be adjusted. Feels like two yards is too tight and most of the time when it’s called has no impact on the play.

agreed. if it is not material to the play, they need to ignore it. I get it for RPOs and screens or if the lineman is engaged in a block, but does it really matter any other time?

I just can’t look at Justin Herbert and think “man, I’d follow that guy into battle anywhere!”

Just doesn’t have “it” IMO

Only if the battle is with a surfboard against ocean waves
