Julio Hopkins Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Crazy how long this dude has been in the league now. Same draft as Leodis McKelvin and James Hardy. 1 3 Quote

And I would imagine for a guy at his level, at this stage of his career, teams would honor that and not make a waiver claim just to keep him from going to another team. Since its his previous contract thats picked up, its not an if he would sign. Hes technically still signed (same as unvested vets). hes not unsigned until he clears waivers. he would have to be on the roster for the team that picks him up. 1 Quote
Dillenger4 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Oh man - sign me up. He still has a motor and he is roughly 6'8. But he will not clear Waivers. Balt would take him just so we can't. 1 Quote

Thank you both. I stand corrected. I knew there was something regarding the waiver dates/priority but couldn't remember. 2 Quote

BADOLBILZ Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 4 minutes ago, Buffalo_Stampede said: Oh, so Baltimore would have priority. That may be his preference but there will probably be other playoff teams that have a shot before Baltimore. Just about everybody could use him. I remember when Terrell Suggs got himself released in December 2019 hoping to end back up with the #1 seed Ravens..........but the Chiefs had priority and claimed him instead. Initially he wasn't happy. The Chiefs basically just claimed him to block him from the Ravens. But he ended up on that first Mahomes SB team. I can't imagine he'd make it thru waivers to the Bills but I'd love to get Campbell next season. Always wanted him to be a Bill. Heard some suggest he didn't ever want to come to Buffalo but nothing substantive. 4 minutes ago, Julio Hopkins said: Crazy how long this dude has been in the league now. What if the other team is your arch enemy who just had an injury at the position? There are a LOT of what if’s out there. I don’t claim to have answers. 1 Quote
Joe Mama Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I think Miami will do it so he can go to Baltimore AND to screw the Bills. Quote
PoundingDog Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I mentioned this before. He is exactly what the Bills needs to address their DL wows. Pretty sure the Bills courted him pretty hard but not offering enough money for him to go to what he believed at the time a "real contender" Dolphins and other homage factors. In the last Dolphins game in Buffalo, he wondered into Bills huddle a few times chatting. But I can see playoff teams like the Ravens will jump in and claim him. He's playing at high level and virtually no financial impact now. Unless he's set on playing for the Bills (which I don't think he is - no real tie), any of the Chargers, Texans, Broncos, Ravens plus the NFC teams will find him valuable. 1 Quote

wppete Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago He will be picked up on the waiver wire before he gets to us. I bet he goes to Baltimore. 1 Quote
