Actually the Bills could really use a player like him on the DL.  I’m assuming he would take the Justin Jefferson role.

I think the rumor was that Miami had a deal in place with Baltimore until McDaniel killed it.   It makes me think Baltimore would be his first choice but would definitely take him in Buffalo.

Wow were really playing Justin Jefferson out of position.  But yes I agree Quinton would be the cut if we were able to get calais somehow.

I get it, but it is also BS

The NFLPA agreed to the rules for all of the players. They can't let a single player bully the rules.

Agreed. No playoff contender will let him go to another, respect or not, lol. Complete fantasy world and bizarre reporting by the Miami journalist.

Also, I love how these players think they can just go to a playoff winner and win a SB. Worked out well for OBJ, Jalen Ramsey (with the Dolphins), Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers, etc., right??!!

This happens more often than you think (both in the waiver wire and draft) and it’s not bizarre reporting at all.

Teams don’t want to waste a claim and time on a player that will refuse to show up. Who will sow division. Who will create a media distraction right before the playoffs.

Agents make known to teams who the player is willing to go to.

i expect OBJ to go back to Baltimore unless he wore his welcome out and we don't know it. same with Campbell.

these players being jerks right now to get and force their way is concerning. when the current diva's in the NCAA and their NIL transfer portal nonsense get to the big leagues its going to be even more ridiculous.

The NBA has allowed their players to do this for a decade, and it has dramatically affected the league in a negative manner. The ratings show it too.

Hopefully the Bills are ready to make an offer. It’ll be between us and the Ravens I believe.

We need him.

This is 1 player that i have always wanted the Bills to pick up but haven't , I have wondered if it was because he demands to much money or what .

Now i wonder if this might be the type of situation like the one with Russ Wilson if the Bills could get him to finish out the year for little bit of nothing while the Fins still paid the bulk of his salary for this season ?

He would be a great addition in the middle of the Bills D especially with the way the Bills rotate their players & given his experience it wouldn't take long for him to get up to par in the scheme and why wouldn't he want to go to a team like the Bills that could be heavy favorites to go to the SB and a guy like him would be a huge help to this side of the Bills team .

If this is in fact true - Go get him Beane !! GET  UR DONE ..

He moves to WR and becomes our #1 high-pointing WR?

the NBA is trash. it's filled with tremendous athletes but it is overcome with divas. lebron james has more pull in that league than anyone else involved and that is a major concern. the rules for the celebrities are not the same for the rest. lebron james is among the handful that have made the nba unwatchable.

I don't think it's any concern.   This has been going on for years but we forget because these late season releases rarely make much of a difference.   I remember the Bills picked up WR Kenny Stills at the end of the 2021 season this way.   Ended up not getting elevated.  The criteria to be one of these releases includes having zero projected comp pick formula value.   It's a pretty narrow group of players.

Campbell has always been more of a 2-gap, odd-front tweener. Perfect for the Pittsburghs and Baltimores. A 5-technique ideally. But he can definitely play inside in an even-front against the pass and outside in a heavy alignment against the run.

So we need to lose out to have a shot at him, what could go wrong?

I don’t think so.  Yes, he’s subject to waivers, but a guy of Campbell’s status is likely respected enough in league circles to call his shot.

I agree though, it’s a long shot, unless we can convince him he has a much better chance to win a ring in Buffalo over Baltimore (which in fairness, he probably does).

Its almost agonizing how much he would likely help this DL… and DL has been what’s held us back year after year.

I think he’d be a major help, but I’d bet a dollar he’ll be going to Baltimore.

To be fair Kenny Stills is not Isaiah Hodgins.

Campbell still has plenty left. Watching him chase down backs and underneath receivers along with getting after QBs, makes me think he could help as part of our rotation in the playoffs. He’s a great leader and this is the year to go after it guns blazing.
