Another Fan Posted Wednesday at 02:52 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:52 PM It's a couple years removed from Belichick and Brady both being with the Patriots. And now they are having a 3-11 season without either one of them. So it seems Bills fans got their wish during the drought years that the Patriots would go back to being irrelevant again. However, for obvious reasons the Chiefs might have taken on the #1 team the fanbase dislikes the most. I still would like to see the Bills dominate the Patriots for another 15 years (and win some Super Bowls along the way) to even that score. But yeah I probably dislike the Chiefs more at this point. 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted Wednesday at 02:56 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:56 PM Not even close. The Chiefs, Fins, Ravens, and Bengals have surpassed them on my hate list. Did you hate the Steve Grogan/Tony Eason Pats? That's where they are right now. 2 1 Quote
Gregg Posted Wednesday at 02:58 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:58 PM I live in NJ, so I have to deal with Jets fans and listen to the media hype them up over the last few seasons. I don't think that will be happening this offseason. So, for me it's the Jets and then the Dolphins/Pats. Quote
SCBills Posted Wednesday at 02:59 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:59 PM Not even close. I’m a millennial whose entire childhood was terrorized by Brady. I never even hated them as much back then as I hate the Chiefs now. At least we were terrible back then.. now we’re good and we have to deal with another dynasty that, even now, seems to have stagnated, yet has become the luckiest team on the planet in recent years. Other teams get banged up heading into the playoffs. They get healthy. Other teams suffer massive injuries in the playoffs. They lose a rotational defensive end or something. Win a Super Bowl on a flag. Casual Chiefs run. I genuinely think we need to not just beat them, but destroy them. Put a stake through their heart and they’ll fall back to the pack in future years. Until that happens.. they’re the luckiest, most obnoxious team I’ve ever witnessed. Recurring fake Mahomes injury and all. 3 2 2 Quote
Johnnycage46 Posted Wednesday at 03:02 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:02 PM They are beyond irrelevant at this point to me. Their run was annoying for sure, but honestly, we were never in a position to compete with them for the division anyway during their run from 2001-2019. For me it is without question KC now. We have Allen and they have been in standing in our way of getting just one SB. 5 Quote
boyst Posted Wednesday at 03:07 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:07 PM (edited) They never were the team I disliked the most. It was always just Brady, Edelman, Gronkowski, Brucshki, the nut punch guy, Vince Wilforks wife and maybe a few more. Dugger and Barmore are likeable. I always respected Belichick. I always respected many of the team members, especially the OL. It is and will always be the Dolphins. Edited Wednesday at 03:07 PM by boyst 2 1 Quote
Blackbeard Posted Wednesday at 03:08 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:08 PM I loathe the Chiefs, primarily Kelce. Id like to punch him. 1 1 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted Wednesday at 03:08 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:08 PM Yes, because at least with the Chiefs, we are good and have a Josh and it's a real rivalry. With the Pats, it was just getting pummeled over and over. The bully would show up, we'd warn him that "we've been taking karate and THIS time it will be different!", and then they'd just give us a wedgie and push our head in the toilet for a swirly. The hammer never considers the nail a rival. There was NO part in 20 years where dealing with the Pats was fun (except for the 2 times we beat them, which is not enough). Plus they're a division rival. I dont hate them as much as I used to, because now it's like we've all graduated and that same bully is stuck pumping gas in our home town while we own a tech company and have married a super model. But I still hate them more than the Chiefs. I hate our entire Division more than the Chiefs or any other team. 1 1 Quote

But once Mahomes and Allen are gone, and the teams decline then KC will just be another team. The dislike for our divisional rivals will always be permanent. 2 Quote

Those Pats went to the Super Bowl, didn't they? Sure, they got spanked like a child by the Bears, but it's not like they were terrible. Quote
Coffeesforclosers Posted Wednesday at 03:13 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:13 PM No. They are an inconsequential franchise now. I see them on the schedule and hope we don't lose any players beating them. 2 Quote
Htt2821 Posted Wednesday at 03:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:15 PM (edited) I never “hated” the Pats during their dynasty because they were always just better than us. I always disliked the Phins and Jets more because we were always battling them for 2nd place for 20 years…I loathe both those organizations and nothing makes me happier knowing that the Bills emerged as the best once the Pats run ended. Everything I hated about the Pats with BB and Brady, I hate about the Chiefs (except for our regular season record). There is exactly 1 team from 2001 to 2019 that I rooted for to lose every game they played. Didn't matter who they were playing, when they were playing. I hate watched almost every one of their games. That was NE. Since 2020, there is still exactly 1 team that I root to lose every game. It's the Chiefs. I used to hate the Pats. Now, I nothing the Pats and I hate the Chiefs. 1 Quote

My hatred for the Dolphins was ingrained by my father from the 70s (and the fun rivalry with the Marino Dolphins of the 80s/90s helped solidify it). And I too, will pass down the generational hatred for the Pats to my children. 1 Quote

I loathe the Fish. That rivalry is almost .500 throughout the Bills/Dolphins history though now. I certainly understand your sentiment though. I thought that's why there might be a little more Patriots dislike on this thread here now...... we'd have to see the Bills dominate them for like at least another 15 years to get the all time rivalry back to .500. And that's not even counting Super Bowl wins. Quote
Captain Hindsight Posted Wednesday at 03:22 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:22 PM The Pats* are irrelevant. The hated coach is at UNC of all places and the QB is talking about how great our QB looks in shorts. I've barely thought about the Pats* all year and I consider myself to be a football junkie 1 Quote

MPL Posted Wednesday at 03:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:25 PM I hate the Jaguars — their dumb uniforms, their dumb England games, their dumb coaches, their dumb everything. Josh Hines-Allen is cool, though. Quote
Artful Dodger Posted Wednesday at 03:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:25 PM The Chiefs. No, not the Chiefs really. Mostly their fans. In the AFC title game this year, I would like to see Buffalo go to Arrowhead Stadium and beat the Chiefs 51-7. Quote
