Doc Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It's been said that unnatural things happen at the bottom of that pile. So every time I see one, I expect someone's getting poked and prodded. 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Yup if you have played football I’ve had everything from pinching stomach fat to squeezing/twisting someone’s male anatomy etc  Funny story, we were in HS and we were blowing out a team on the road and this kid kept taking shots at us after the whistle and we took it for awhile hoping the refs would correct it but they didn’t so finally my center got tired of it so he said he’d take care of it. Ran a run play and in the pile center gave a fish hook in his mouth very hard and the kid was screaming in the pile asking for help. Refs heard it but couldn’t see anything so he came into our huddle asking who did it and we all just laughed at him 1 Quote

CaseyatBat Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The refs did let that go on way too long. It was dangerous 1 3 Quote

SoCal Deek Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I watched some of the game replay last night.  He was demonstrably upset when he got up out of the pile. This isn’t just something he made up later. 3 Quote

RochesterLifer Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) My first live Bills game was at Orchard Park against the Dolphins in '88. Miami fumbled and the ref had his mic on. Clear as day, echoing through the stadium, we heard Bruce Smith, from the bottom of the pile scream, "It's my f***ing ball!" The crowd roared. Â That is a place I would never want to be. Simon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I made the mistake of saying something like "Man, I'm glad I never have to be in one of those again" during the scrum, which resulted in me having to explain what I meant to my wife. Now she won't look me in the eye...... 2 Quote
Saint Doug Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It’s interesting that during a football game grown dudes act this way. But after the whistle the gay jokes would fly. Quote
