GASabresIUFan Posted Wednesday at 02:57 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:57 AM (edited) There was much discussion before the season on this board that the Bills had no elite players on the roster except Josh and maybe Milano if healthy. I think that argument is over. There are plenty of elite players on the Bills. The question for this thread is who is the 2nd best player on the Bills? Personally, I think there are 6 other truly elite players on the Bills besides Josh, a few others working toward that goal. Edited Wednesday at 03:00 AM by GASabresIUFan 2 1 Quote
wppete Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:02 AM I think its either Cook or Shakir. They are both having a great season so far. 3 8 Quote

Doc Brown Posted Wednesday at 03:06 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:06 AM Christian Benford has been elite. 8 11 1 Quote
BruceVilanch Posted Wednesday at 03:22 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:22 AM I choose Cook, dude is a home run threat every time he touches the ball. Quote
Sojourner Posted Wednesday at 03:37 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:37 AM It’s McGovern for me but Edwards is a close second. Dude has solidified that offense line at what was another concern after Morse left. No snap issues and looks to be have made Edwards a seamless addition next to him on the line. Not exactly a flashy choice but very important. 1 2 2 1 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted Wednesday at 03:45 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:45 AM Shakir, by a good margin. Cook #2. Quote

GASabresIUFan Posted Wednesday at 04:14 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 04:14 AM I'm surprised that there isn't more love for our Twin Tackles Dawkins and Brown. The Bills have only allowed 13 sacks for the season and none in the last 4 games. They have allowed 1 or less in 10 of 14 games this season. 2 2 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted Wednesday at 04:36 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:36 AM I figured most would choose a skill guy to be the 2nd best player on the team just because they are the guys who put up points but I think the 2nd best player for this team this year is either Dion Dawkins or Spencer Brown. I'll give the nod to Dawkins because of his longevity but Brown has also been an absolute wall on the other side of the line as well. 1 Quote
Mikie2times Posted Wednesday at 04:45 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:45 AM (edited) The reason we are so good this year is no clear 2nd answer exists. If I had to guess I would say Shakir and I only say that because he is probably the most important for Brady. He's sort of the Taron on our offense. Sort of a non traditional role but fully entrenched in what we do. Edited Wednesday at 04:46 AM by Mikie2times 3 Quote
