It was much more effective that way, bc it looked like Josh was running the sweep to the opposite direction.

Team chemistry has always been strong in the McD era (or at least that's how it seems) got a little shaky in 2023 with Diggs but even then it still looked like the team had good chemistry despite the elephant in the room maybe making is less good. I think even in 2017 prior to Josh McD really installed a good culture so it isn't all Josh although Josh is the center point now.

Based on the reactions after the Rams game... I'm gonna have to say for many, all signs point to not really

 

It's so crazy how the rams game and the lions game was basically the bills being on both sides of the exact same coin/game script and it's so encouraging seeing how the team intentionally made adjustments to be that team in control against the lions by being much more aggressive early...not really hearing too many of the same people saying it was an example of self scouting and growth

Having watched the late 80’s early 90’s Bills it definitely makes me appreciate what we have now even more. Great teams and especially players like Josh don’t come around often. 
 

What I found interesting on Monday was all the praise heaped on Josh. Like these people never saw him play like this before, almost surprised at how good he really is.  Yeah he’s been extra great this season, but it’s Josh being Josh! No surprise to us true Bills fans!
