Not really. Bills usually carry 9 OL on the active roster, and before this move they only had 8. Brown is fine.

Smoot is playing well. Toohill is pretty average. Maybe they want to get Solomon a few more snaps...

I am the same way. In fact, I think the bills twitter may have shown a photo of smoot when referencing toohill’s release!  They are confused too!

Glad Grable is back healthy. Interested to see if he reclaims the swing role or if RVD did enough in the game he started, at his weaker spot on the right side, to jump him. 

 

I thought Toohill was lucky to make the 53. No shock to see him go.

But I believe we signed him to a one year deal.

 

So, when the off season arrives he will not be a Bill anymore. That's why I would like to re-sign him.

Me, too. You have to go back to 1990, with Will Wolford, House Ballard, Kent Hull, John Davis, and Jim Richter. Frerotte and Glenn Parker the backups.

Toohill made some plays a few games ago. I'd rather have him than Jefferson, who was sluggish against Detroit.

He doesn’t offer much as a pass rusher but sets the edge very well and is a high motor player.  Would be a good addition to the PS

That's pretty cold to Mark Pike, second only to Tasker as the lynchpin of the Bills 90s STs.  Never forget the crunching block so Christie could recover the onside kick and ignite The Comeback.
