Chicken Boo Posted Tuesday at 08:20 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:20 PM I'd sit him for a game. They have 1 to give, so why not? 2 Quote

Imagine beating the Mahomes-less Chiefs? We'd NEVER heard the end of it from their fans. ALLEN > mahomes. AND, the BILLS > chiefs. If he plays through a high ankle sprain without sitting, everyone will say he’s battling through an injury if he loses in the playoffs and he would’ve won if healthy. So I don’t think you’re gonna get what you’re looking for regardless now 😂 2 Quote

Yea it’s worth a shot vs Houston…if wentz looks really bad I’d probably panic a bit and rush him back. Close loss makes the decision really interesting if I’d rush him back for pit really a lot hinges on the Baltimore pit game this week. If pit finds a way to win that one idk if I’d even want to be the 1 seed 😂. Divisional against the ravens then likely afc champ against kc/buf (depending on who’s perspective you’re lookin from) seems like a tougher road to me. Sitting a dinged up mahomes seems worth it if it avoids Baltimore in round 2. Edited Tuesday at 08:25 PM by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 Quote

And if that goes well you can probably sit him for the next 3 weeks if you want. if you drop one to Houston and panic a bit you can rush mahomes back against pit 20 minutes ago, Gregg said: Probably a good idea especially since they are playing Saturday and then on Christmas. 20 minutes ago, boyst said: You could put a number of QB's of mediocre talent on that roster and they'd succeed. Tua, for example, would thrive in that system even with a poor OL. The Chiefs need to be very concerned about their OL. exactly. That team can win with Wentz. and they should play him just to show how dominant they are. Well said. Bigger picture for any team who’s in that situation with that schedule… if the injury is indeed as reported, he’s not playing both games in a 4 day window well. Wentz this first game then Mahomes Christmas Day against Pittsburgh if need be. Whilst I hope they don’t lol, giving Mahomes the extra rest whilst having a litmus test for Wentz and the team is the smarter scenario for them Quote
MikePJ76 Posted Tuesday at 08:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:24 PM if u think the chiefs won't play this up and then act surprised and shocked when mahomes plays then you have not watched enough of andy reid or the chiefs. 1 4 Quote

Playing Saturday Wednesday on a bum ankle would be reckless in the extreme. If it was the Bills I would 100% want them to sit him v Houston and see how he is by Pittsburgh. Quote

And that's the last thing the mystique-riding Chefs want to become public. A Buffalo Bills Public Service Announcement Maybe they are really worried that the team will look no different with Wentz in. Quote

Yep, first half Mahomes will be limping around and playing it up and then miraculously he'll be sprinting around doing an Irish jig or a pleasant polka waltz. I've seen this act too many times and it's getting old. 3 Quote
pigpen65 Posted Tuesday at 08:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:32 PM I don't think the # 1 seed matters anyways. Chiefs will lose their first playoff game. Buffalo at the #2 seed will have home field for the entirety of the playoffs. 1 Quote
Bills!Win! Posted Tuesday at 08:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:37 PM Chiefs will win on a punt block in the final seconds against the Texans anyways 1 2 Quote

One fewer chance for a marginal team to win a fluke game like the Rams did. Quote

Sure. Our first Super Bowl run can be against mostly PS players called up for injury for all I care. Just get one any which way and all the pressure will be off the organization for the rest of Allen's career. Mahomes getting his first one has made everything since then so much easier. 2 Quote

Just so he can hear pundits mention how he has a superman cape too 1 1 2 Quote
