Just so he can hear pundits mention how he has a superman cape too I really always thought they were bros but that offensive offside whining was really eye opening. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 They initially announced this as a "mild" ankle sprain, not a high ankle. So I assumed he would be OK, unless there's a knee thing involved (doesn't sound like there is). Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 'Chiefs Fear Sitting Mahomes' 🤔 Sounds like a line from a really bad 1940s Hollywood western. 2 Quote
US Egg Posted December 17 Posted December 17 Mahomes's would have time to shoot another commercial: Quote
julian Posted December 17 Posted December 17 All I’ve listened to for weeks is how the 1 seed doesnt matter that much, but KC is thinking about to Trot out the franchise on one leg to secure it ? Something isn’t adding up. I don’t think they’re gonna like the national narrative if a backup QB comes in and their offense looks good for the first time this season. Quote

Tua, for example, would thrive in that system even with a poor OL. The Chiefs need to be very concerned about their OL. exactly. That team can win with Wentz. and they should play him just to show how dominant they are. LMAO Mediocre QBs could probably do fine in Brady’s offense, and with that protection. Mediocre QBs would do nothing with the protection Mahomes has had so far. 12 minutes ago, ddaryl said: Pat is probably sick of the attention Josh is getting, so he hams up an ankle injury just so he can come back and play this week. Success Posted December 17 Posted December 17 The defense is definitely carrying them this year. I'm envious of that - I'd love to see Allen get even a game or 2 like that (bad teams don't count). Still holding out hope for that 1 seed. Really interested to see how they do against the Texans, whether Mahomes plays or not. 1 Quote

Mahomes has been whatever in most of their games. Statistically that's what it looks like. But when they need points he gets them. I think they lose some games with Wentz. 1 Quote

He won a Super bowl on one leg, with poor wr's and tackles, great officials, and a team that shizzed the bed when it mattered....and still almost beat the Chiefs. I don't care what Mahomes things. Imagine beating the Mahomes-less Chiefs? We'd NEVER heard the end of it from their fans. ALLEN > mahomes. AND, the BILLS > chiefs. Blah Blah Blah, nobody cares, just win. Let him sit for a couple weeks and cost them the 1 seed. Quote

Maybe their D sees them through if Wentz plays but at this time of year against teams that have something to play for that outcome to me is very uncertain. 1 Quote
Special K Posted December 17 Posted December 17 He's a big phony, IMO. Whenever things aren't going well, he all of a sudden starts limping around so he has a built in excuse for why they lose, or look like a hero if they win. He sees the writing on the wall that the Bills will beat KC in Buffalo or KC in the playoffs, so he is setting up his excuse for when they lose. 1 1 Quote

Do they give trophies for “almost won?” I’ll bet he’s ashamed that he didn’t blow out a much more talented team while injured. Quote
HOUSE Posted December 17 Posted December 17 If you remember doctors around the country warned Mahomes about playing with the injury. An early return can cause future problems. Did he liston, no!! Quote

I’d better start limping around to give myself an excuse for this!” Quote
