thenorthremembers Posted December 17 Posted December 17 (edited) Going to put this on today while I work. I will say I've been a fan of the guy in the past. I think I am going to come away feeling bad for the guy because I think a great deal of what he seems to be looking for stems from the breakdown of his family. Sweats Posted December 17 Posted December 17 The dude is definitely a riddle wrapped within a mystery for sure. I liked the guy at one point early in his career, but his "schtick" is wearing thin with me Quote

US Egg Posted December 17 Posted December 17 Aaron Rodgers-Enema would also have been acceptable. 1 1 1 Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 It’s hard not to like Aaron rodgers after how he’s wrecked the jets. Too bad he couldn’t bring down Green Bay the same way. I personally like his I don’t give a ***** limp bizkit I’m the boss attitude. ***** leader for sure, but fun media personality Quote

A retreat where they all play hand drums, dance with one another, and retreat to their inner soul. Rodgers goes into a deep thought about how a catapillar never actually becomes a butterfly but is always just a catapillar that can suddenly fly and eat flowers. Jordan Poyer is there dancing like a fool and if you look closely I think you'll see our very own Von Miller. I don't think he is a bad guy by any means. I think he is fairly self obsessed however. I think he has a lot of time to think about Aaron Rodgers. I find people like him tend to act altruistic when in actuality almost everything they do is about themselves. They just dress it up with nonsense. Pretty boring show overall. Guy is going to be a life long bachelor who moves near the ocean, reads whatever self help is trendy that year and beds a lot of hot young hippie chicks by talking the catepillar nonsense. He really needs to put those family demons to bed or it's never going to change. Having some purpose beyond football outside of "self reflection" may also help. Quote
aristocrat Posted December 18 Posted December 18 On episode 2. He’s a different guy but not a bad guy. He does get some strange criticism. Remember the story about the wr who was undrafted who said the cadence calls were too hard and how rodgers was a bad guy for that? Then it turned out it was Jordan love who actually came up with them. Quote
stevewin Posted Wednesday at 02:44 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:44 PM I finished this last night - have to say it kept me interested. - Honestly didn't really realize the extent he embraces all the 'alternative/new-age' stuff in his life - Poyer in the ayahuasca stuff, but also Josh at the flag football charity thing - seems like he and Rodgers really get along - Seems like there still is a bit of chilliness with Favre - Favre thinks he did nothing wrong and was supportive but Rodgers didn't seem like he was buying it at all in their face-face, also basically said he wanted to be better to Love than Favre was with him - Had forgotten about all the anti-vax/'inoculation' stuff - It was surreal to see the Jets hype stuff again - all the insane Jets super bowl hype when he first got there, the speech to the team after he got hurt that they were still a SB team (ouch) - and even the SB hype this year with him coming back - Was wondering when it would end - the whole timing of releasing this seems weird - ending after the first game was kind of abrupt, and we were denied the behind the scenes of Saleh getting fired - Was a reminder also of all the work these guys have to do to rehab and come back from injuries - all the hours we don't see. If anything I came away with more of an appreciation for him to get back on the field as a 40 yr old after the injury (which I'm sure was part of his motivation for doing it) Quote

Augie Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Let’s make it interesting. An hour with Aaron Rodgers or an enema? This should have been a poll! Quote
Fr. Jerk Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Watched it today. Enjoyed it but wouldn't say it's a must watch. It does a good job of making him more likeable, IMO. Homeboy seems to just naturally sound smug/condescending at times, even if he isn't trying to be. He's had a HOF career, made his gwop, and can do whatever he wants now. Always enjoyed watching him play and never had anything against him. Edited 9 hours ago by Fr. Jerk Quote
boyst Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I never understand how people ***** all over this guy for but get butthurt when people did it to Kaepernick. And vice versa. Quote
