Big Turk Posted Tuesday at 01:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:37 PM I think so...although division games can always get funky and we got 3 in a row Quote

ddaryl Posted Tuesday at 01:51 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:51 PM More than likely we will be resting starters so hitting the record will be real tough IMO Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted Tuesday at 01:58 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:58 PM What’s the record for most 40 point games in a row? Quote

Became a Bills fan back in 2018 when Josh got drafted since I was born and raised in Wyoming and a huge Wyoming fan for college sports. Now a huge Bills fan for the last 7 years. Have watched every play. Anyways I haven’t seen this posted anywhere. If it is please forgive me. Everyone probably knows the Bills scored 30 or more points for the 8th time in a row tying like 5 other teams to do it I believe. So if the Bills score 30 or more this week they become the first offense ever to hit 9 in a row. If the Bills can score 30 or more in the last 3 games they will be the first team ever to score 30 or more in 14 games in an NFL season. Right now the 2013 Broncos have the record at 13. Based on how the offense is rolling and the competition left on the schedule I don’t see how they don’t break both of these records unless of course they decide to sit the starters the last game of the year. You all think they will break both of these? Also one other thing I have noticed is a lot of people think the Eagles are the best team in football now but if the Bills played them I don’t see the Eagles defense slowing this offense down at all. They are supposed to have the best defense but I have seen many better defense than the Eagles have in years past. They aren’t the 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens or the Legion of Boom Seahawks from 2013. Which is the type of defense you need to slow this offense down in my opinion, nobody has this type of defense in the NFL this year. I just don’t see anyone slowing this offense down now. People will have to outscore the Bills in my opinion. I don’t think the Eagles are a team that has the type of offense to keep up with the Bills either. Even though the Bills defense hasn’t been great the last couple of weeks they have missed some people with injuries and I don’t see the Bills defense having as much trouble against an Eagles team as they would against someone like maybe Baltimore when they are on in the AFC and that is it for an AFC team. NFC the only team I could see is the Lions. What do you guys think? I think the Bills offense has gotten even better since they last played KC and KC has trouble scoring so they don’t scare me at all. Just my thoughts. First of all, the priorities now are to win the 1 seed if possible (unlikely), if not then secure the 2 seed (very doable), get through three more games with as few injuries as possible (who knows), and give away as few of Joe Brady's secrets as possible (likely). Setting obscure records is nothing compared to a Lombardi. As for no one stopping the Bills offense, I remember the end of the season of the Bills' first SB team. They were an unstoppable machine. They won the AFC championship 51-3. And then the scored only 19 points in the SB. No one is unstoppable, no one is hopeless. Just play and win. Quote
Sweats Posted Tuesday at 02:50 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:50 PM Although the rest of the AFCEast is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy behind our standings, I don't like to look past divisional rivals. And as for the rest of the AFC, i remember when the Steelers rested their starters and played their 3rd stringers against us and we still couldn't beat them for a spot in the playoffs..........despite the Steelers playing their third-stringers and having a 17-16 lead in the fourth quarter, Buffalo lost 29-24 and subsequently missed the playoffs. It was the only winning season that Buffalo had in the 2000s (2000–2009) and would be the Bills' last winning season until 2014. Like, holy puke. 1 Quote

I think the Bills offense has gotten even better since they last played KC and KC has trouble scoring so they don’t scare me at all. Just my thoughts. For brevity's sake (a lot of us have poor attention spans), this could have been two posts: (1) 30-point streak; (2) Philly. As for the streak, I don't really care. I just want the Bills to enter the playoffs healthy for once. And Brady came out swinging the past two games because he knew he had too. I expect a little more ground-and-pound against the Pats. Additionally, Joe and Josh have obviously found a rhythm but they've proven they're also capable of 10 point games. Sometimes DCs have great game plans. Sometimes offenses go cold. Sometimes both those things happen on the same Sunday. The 30-point streak will end. P.S. Welcome to the Mafia! Despite our occassional online curmudgeon grumpiness, it's a great place to be! Quote

Bills can break it with a 9th win. The record for 30 point games in a season is 13. Bills can break that as well by winning out to get to 14. He’s talking about 2 separate records. Quote
RichStadiumGuy Posted Tuesday at 08:00 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:00 PM Nope... ain't never gonna happen with McD at the helm. He'd prefer to win by one point and he doesn't have the stones to flat out bury an opponent... that wouldn't be "complimentary football" now would it? Quote
