Will Bills break the record for most 30 point games or more in a row and also the most in one season

My first post here. Became a Bills fan back in 2018 when Josh got drafted since I was born and raised in Wyoming and a huge Wyoming fan for college sports.
Now a huge Bills fan for the last 7 years. Have watched every play.

Anyways I haven’t seen this posted anywhere. If it is please forgive me.

Everyone probably knows the Bills scored 30 or more points for the 8th time in a row tying like 5 other teams to do it I believe. So if the Bills score 30 or more this week they become the first offense ever to hit 9 in a row.

If the Bills can score 30 or more in the last 3 games they will be the first team ever to score 30 or more in 14 games in an NFL season. Right now the 2013 Broncos have the record at 13.

Based on how the offense is rolling and the competition left on the schedule I don’t see how they don’t break both of these records unless of course they decide to sit the starters the last game of the year.

You all think they will break both of these?

Also one other thing I have noticed is a lot of people think the Eagles are the best team in football now but if the Bills played them I don’t see the Eagles defense slowing this offense down at all.

They are supposed to have the best defense but I have seen many better defense than the Eagles have in years past. They aren’t the 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens or the Legion of Boom Seahawks from 2013. Which is the type of defense you need to slow this offense down in my opinion, nobody has this type of defense in the NFL this year.

I just don’t see anyone slowing this offense down now. People will have to outscore the Bills in my opinion. I don’t think the Eagles are a team that has the type of offense to keep up with the Bills either. Even though the Bills defense hasn’t been great the last couple of weeks they have missed some people with injuries and I don’t see the Bills defense having as much trouble against an Eagles team as they would against someone like maybe Baltimore when they are on in the AFC and that is it for an AFC team. NFC the only team I could see is the Lions.

What do you guys think? I think the Bills offense has gotten even better since they last played KC and KC has trouble scoring so they don’t scare me at all.

Just my thoughts.

I like your optimism, OP. Ideally, our defense will get some guys back the next 3 weeks, and also start giving more snaps to the guys who do better.

If our D improves, we could even win some games by scores like 24-13. It helps to be able to win that type of ball game in the playoffs. Even the most high flying offenses will have games where they are off or a playoff defense just solves them for a game.

The pats have given up thirty 5 times.  The jets 4.  Both these teams tend to play lower point games.   The bills likely won’t need as many points.  I would think the streak has a good chance but breaking the 14 in a season record is not very likely.   Honestly I don’t care.  I want playoff wins or the season is just another season.

First, Billy, welcome to the board as I see this is your first post.  Most guys here are pretty nice.  As far as your post, there’s only one problem.  You mention we are only the 5th team to score 30+ pts in 8 games.  The problem is as you mentioned, the Broncos have the record with 13 over 30.  Well, seeing as there are only 3 games left, that means the most we could execute is 11 games.  It’s great, but 13 is not possible.

As far as 11 games, it is definitely plausible against the hapless Cheats, Jests, and Cheats.  To your Philly point, the two toughest NFC opponents are the Lions and Iggles.  As long as we make it, we should face one of these two.

Welcome to the boards......

Let's get a few rules straight here.

1) In my mind, i am the #1 poster, the Pharoah of verbal feces, the end all-be all, the god of threads, the master of opinions, the Maharaja of madness, the Sultan of **** talking, etc.

2)......that's it.

You'd do well to learn the rules around here, kid.

8th game in a row. They’re currently at 11 on the season.

Welcome aboard!

The Bills will break the consecutive record but not the total record.

They'll break the latter next season when they're defending their Super Bowl title.

As to who they beat in the Super Bowl, I think Detroit's injuries (now David Montgomery is out for the season) have derailed them. Philly does look tough but Minny and Green Bay are coming on and the Rams are a dark horse.

Regardless of the opponent I'd like to see substantial defensive improvement by the Bills in the upcoming weeks.

No. I think a couple of these AFC East games will get bogged down. The division is clinched, Buffalo will say all the right things about intensity and wanting to win of course but they want to get through these game intact as well.  i’m not expecting the Bills to light up these teams tbh.

If it’s close enough like say up 28-6 in 4th they go for the FG

I think it'd definitely be a cool record to have, but if kc locks up the 1 seed, I think there's a good chance buffalo rests starters the last game or 2. I can't see trubisky putting up 30 points. I mean maybe, we have the jets and Patriots, so it's possible, but I'd rather the bills get to the superbowl

I can't think of a achievement I care about less. Stay healthy, keep working, and figure out a way to win the chip in the playoffs. They could start resting guys now as far as I'm concerned.

I would say this actually impressive because we are doing this with the worst WR core in the last 40 years.

Did you miss Josh's rookie year? Hollins, our current #4, would have been the best WR on that team.

Depends on playoff seeding.  Streak better chance than total.  I'd put the streak at 50/50 next week.  Maybe 35/65 against the jets.  I think we miss it week 18 if playoff seeding is locked and get 30 if we are playing for something.

Im being sarcastic.  Bull griped all offseason how bad this offensive talent was.  He made the statement this is the worst WR core in 40 years and then when we started putting up points, he deleted it.
