This is funny 😁 Ravens claim Lamar was first to accomplish something Allen did almost 3 years ago

What game(s) did Josh do that in? I believe you, I just can't remember.

The perfect game.  Patriots

I don't do X so I'll not be monitoring or commenting on this but I'll be curious to know if the Ravens' social media team has taken the post down.

What’s even more hilarious is both Josh and Lamar were 21/25. 84% completion & 5TDs

Lamar? 290 passing. 65 rushing.

Josh? 308 passing. 66 rushing.

Difference? Superman did his in the playoffs. Then proceeded to follow it up with another magical performance in another win or go home game.

I doubt Lamar puts up a stat line against Pittsburgh of at least   73% 329yards 4td 0int, 68 rushing

Oh, well they are probably talking about the regular season. A lot of times stats are separated by regular season vs post season.

In the tweet thread, Ravens fans are saying that Lamar did it in the regular season, and playoff stats don't count.

That's not the "gotcha" they think it is. Allen did it against a playoff team while Jackson did it against a hot trash team.

Yeah, that's a ridiculous argument. Given Jackson's history of wilting in the playoffs, if I was on X I'd respond that Lamar could learn a thing or two from Allen about saving his best for when it counts.

With Lamar as their QB, it's their coping mechanism to convince themselves that playoff stats don't count given that they're 2-4 with him despite their defense giving up an avg of only 15.9 points over that span.

5 tds no int is never awful.   Come on.  Let's be real.

It was meant to be sarcastic. Bottom line is how come stats mean something this year when apparently, they didn't mean anything last year?

Yeah, that's probably why they missed Josh's game. Still pretty funny, though.

They should have known regardless. Only Josh Allen breaks records.
