I think it has to be good for Allen's MVP case to have more games in the late afternoon like this, when more of the country watches.  He's been lighting it up in every one of these.

CBS probably looked at the fast national ratings from yesterday's game and called Roger directly. 49ers/Dolphins isn't exactly a dud, they are both clinging to playoff hopes and the loser of this game is knocked out.

Next sunday's slate is brutal but they have Wash Phi at 1pm, surprised they didn't move that one

Fox game.  CBS has late slot.

Quite the opposite - for people who tailgate, this gives 3 extra hours to do just that.  We LOVE this.

Just realized that both Chiefs and Steelers games are on Saturday, phew. Those are the only 2 games I wanted to watch.

Dolphins and probably Niners are pretty much toast, esp after Dolphins loss yesterday.

no worries there, I’ll just arrive around noon instead of 9 AM now!

Thats because they play each other 4 days later on Christmas Day.

They want to see the Bills blow out the patriots... I think Josh Allen has surpassed Mahomes and Lamar as THE must see player in the league.

Josh  👽 is bigger than Taylor Swift.

Will no one think of the children Europeans? 😅 That's another "wee hours of the morning" game for those of us on this side of the pond. Staying up until 3 for the Rams or Lions is one thing but for the Pats?

I like the 4:30 games.   Out of church by 12:30, plenty of time to do things at home, and a nice dinner with football.   Not a bad little Sunday.

Same here.  I dont finish church volunteer until 4pm. Amen.

That's one response... The other is "oh, I get to tailgate for 7 hours now?  Awesome!"
