If it happens is has nothing to do with the Pats and everything to do with the nation wanting to watch Josh Allen.

Literally this.  They are must watch TV and it wil only help with his MVP bid (even though I think he already locked it up).

The other 4:25 games are Raiders/Jags and 49ers/Dolphins.  No one wants to watch that.

The hilarious thing is that the league moved Josh so CBS doesn't have to subject the country to Niners-Dolphins.

And on top of that, the Patriots are just along for the ride.

Official - Just checked my digital ticket

The Week 16 game between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots is getting flexed, the NFL announced Monday.

Originally slated for 1 p.m., Bills vs. Patriots at Highmark Stadium on Dec. 22 will now start at 4:25 p.m. EST. The game will remain on CBS.

Yup. 49ers Fish was supposed to be the marquee at 425.

Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, Texans, Ravens, Steelers, Buccaneers, Cowboys, Saints and Packers all already unavailable to move to 425, 4 of which then also play Wednesday. There wasn't much left to move apart from us. Maybe Eagles Commies?

Next sunday's slate is brutal but they have Wash Phi at 1pm, surprised they didn't move that one

Almost certainly on FOX. Our game is CBS and they obviously have the doubleheader.

That's fox not cbs

It's not 100 percent aligned like that anymore, but in this case it almost certainly is.

I hate this for people going to the game who tailgate. Now, the only game I c an watch is Buffalo. I like coming home for the 4pms

Quite the opposite - for people who tailgate, this gives 3 extra hours to do just that.  We LOVE this.

Also, is this the week 18 game?  That is still TBD.

I was just talking about this in bed last night with my GF. Week 18 Bills at Pats is maybe the most meaningless game on the calendar, it is likely to get flexed because it has absolutely zero implications.

The league will likely want Browns/Ravens, Chargers/Raiders, Bengals/Steelers, KC/Broncos, 49ers/Cardinals, and Seahawks/LAR on at the same time. A lot of moving parts for seedings and the wild card in there.

Hearing from a good source that this Sunday’s game will be flexed to 4:25 start time.

Good call, OP.

Thanks for the title update even though it was clearly unnecessary from your perspective.
