Johnson, (s) Mike Edwards, Toohill. Re-signings: AJE, Daquan Jones, Ty Johnson, & Q Morris. Edited December 31, 2024 by GASabresIUFan 1 Quote

I briefly showed a pulse but that faded away quickly. Quietly... the word is quietly. Age and modest production aside......the saying in pro sports is that the more things you do........the less you get paid. I could see him back for a very similar contract. No more than 1 or 2 years. He may be more valued by certain coaches but their GM isn't going to pay him good money to block, play ST's and be good at scramble drill offense for a type of QB they don't even have. And again, not at that age. Yeah his valuation is tricky. I think it's one of those deals where they tell him "you've earned the right to see what's out there for you" and hope that his emotional attachment to the team brings him to a number all sides can live with. Billsfed1 Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Mack Hollins is the Hulk Hogan of the NFL. Just when you think he’s down and out he comes up with that big, unforgettable play. I still say he has the play that wins the game against baltimore Quote

I just don't think there is going to be a strong market for his services. Is Joe Brady going to take him to NOLA or Cincy? I don't think you take the talent they have off the field for Mack. Elsewhere, everybody around the league knows who he is. And he's old. I don't think he's getting better. He's always been good at all of this stuff. What has been clarified is that he's not a starting caliber boundary WR. That's why he is what he is. Edited December 31, 2024 by BADOLBILZ 1 Quote

Yes...he has been integral in so many ways and embodies everything the coaches preach about doing your 1/11th, giving everything you've got and doing all the little things right that don't get noticed but are huge reasons why plays are successful. And then throw in his plays on a regular basis that are big time catches on 3rd down to move chains or TD catches. These are the types of players that help teams won championships and you can never have enough of them. Beane better re-sign him to a multi-year deal. Edited December 31, 2024 by Big Turk Quote

I don't disagree... when I have time I'm going to slap a price tag on him... it'll be interesting to see what he signs for. Quote

Those aren't empty words from coach. How many guys were after-thoughts on other teams, but are thriving with us and major contributors to the team: Mack Hollins, Ty Johnson, Jordan Phillips, Taylor Rapp, etc. How many guys have big or quirky personalities that are allowed to be themselves: Dion Dawkins, Spencer Brown, Mack Hollins, Keon Coleman, Dawson Knox, Ed Oliver, Von, Jordan Phillips, Josh, etc. Mack is the epitome of why players like being in Buffalo. So glad he's a Bill. 1 Quote
