How much do you think that pays? Age and modest production aside......the saying in pro sports is that the more things you do........the less you get paid. I could see him back for a very similar contract. No more than 1 or 2 years. He may be more valued by certain coaches but their GM isn't going to pay him good money to block, play ST's and be good at scramble drill offense for a type of QB they don't even have. And again, not at that age. I think he’ll get between 4-5M on a one year deal. Double his check this season. I hope you’re right and we sign him for 2 years 5m total. That’s a bargain for what he brings to this team. We’ll miss him if he leaves You have to be very happy with what he’s brought to the table for us this year, no? Great blocker, catches almost anything going his way and solid on ST. I love seeing stuff like this...so many people just don't ever want to come off an initial thought, impression, or opinion. So kudos to you sir This is what I was saying about him this offseason, that he is better than people realize and was signed to have a role here. He wasn't just another Kumerow type player like many assumed he would be. Glad to see he isn't the whipping boy around here anymore even though there are still a few that can't get past that, its definitely not the majority anymore. 4 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Mack Hollins is trending on twitter...for...basically being awesome haha. Still can't believe all the whining and crap that was piled on this guy during the offseason by a lot of posters around here. 1 1 2 1 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Hollins found a home in Buffalo. Bills make a one year $3M offer, and he signs IMO. He doesn't have too many miles on him and not a huge injury record. He should be fine at 32 years old. 1 1 Quote

You think he's only earned a 400k raise? 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Dude is easily one of the favs. Refreshing and captivating individual who’s transparently himself and an absolute team first guy. 2 2 2 Quote
ghostwriter Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Mack Hollins has been the biggest surprise to me outside of Ty Johnson. He’s about as good of a #4-#5 WR as you’re gonna get and Josh loves him. Hopefully Buffalo can lock him down to another one year deal in the offseason. 9 minutes ago, BillsFanForever19 said: He's on a 1 year 2.6m deal now, coming off a 0 TD year as a journeyman. I don't remember there being so much in the offseason so much as there being a lot early in the season when things weren't gelling with all the new pieces and he looked one way when he should have looked the other on an awesome Josh Allen deepshot in against the ?Texans? 1 Quote
SunDSolar Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I was so so wrong on this guy this offseason. I never want to see him track deep balls over his shoulder ever again but he does everything else so ***** well. Resign him please 1 1 Quote
Blackbeard Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Hollins puts out 110% at all times. 2 1 Quote
BearNorth Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I love how on running plays, he's always trying to get in someone's way and he's very good setting screens to get guys open in the passing game. 1 Quote

You must not have been on much in the offseason and missed the quietly got better thread too ha He got way way way more heat in the offseason than in season. In fact, he was pretty good the first 3 weeks where he affected almost every TD scored running and passing either through blocking or receiving. Only time he really took any heat in season was the Houston game, but it was totally misguided heat, not only on that play, but that game in general. For example, that Texans play was more on Josh Allen in what was Allens worst game as a pro both throwing the ball and on his decision making (and the worst game in NFL history for comp% if I am not mistaken too). It was a poorly thrown ball that had way too much air on it, was thrown too far and more importantly thrown off target to the wrong shoulder on the outside. That ball was put in the most difficult spot for any WR to track and catch that ball when Mack had been wide open for what should have been an easy toss and catch. It was not that Mack looked one way and should have looked another, it was Josh made a poor throw and put Mack in a highly difficult position to both track and make that play...That is a hard adjustment and catch for most WR's. 1 Quote
CSBill Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Resign him, whatever it takes! With limits, of course. 🤪 Quote
LabattBlue Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I said in another thread a few weeks back that I apologize to Hollins. He has been solid in his role, and would be glad if re-signed to a 1 or 2 year reasonable deal. 1 Quote

There is a whole lot of 29+ year olds playing for less. I don't think he will be $5M. Quote

starrymessenger Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 He is great at nothing but he's pretty much good at everything. I saw his interview with Chris Long which I think dates back to training camp. He comes across as an intelligent man. Seems to translate into excellent situational awareness on the football field. I'd imagine he'll have offers in the 4m range from other teams. I think he'll want to stay here. But offering him just a 400k range is a bit of an insult. Has to be 3.75, at the least.
