Gabe Davis 2023:

45/81 (56%), 746 yards, 7TDs

Gabe was our #2 WR behind Diggs

New contract is 3yr, $39m ($13m/yr)

Mack Hollins 2024:

24/41 (59%), 295 yards, 5TDs

Mack is our WR 4 behind Cooper, Coleman, and Shakir

Current contract is 1yr, $2.3m

So, we saved $11m, may still end up with 6-7 TDs by the end of the year, is a major contributor on special teams, as good/better blocker than Gabe was, and did this while seeing significantly less playtime than Gabe did. Mack has been, at highest, WR3 on the depth chart depending on injuries through the season.

Sign me up for bringing him back for another 2 years, even if his price goes up a little bit.

I admit I wasn't thrilled at the idea of him in the roster and to be sure I much prefer him as WR4/5 but in that role Hollins has absolutely exceeded expectations. A ST guy who can also fill in as a rotational WR threat? Yes please.

I thought Mack deserved his own thread. While he wasn’t a splashy off season acquisition, he certainly has fit right in with the Bills and I would love to see him on the Bills for a couple more years.

He always seems to be around the ball and is a very smart player. Solid hands, versatile special teams guy, and I love his chill approach to life. I think he is another one of those personalities that keeps the Bills loose yet focused. The plays that he participated in have clearly helped the Bills at key moments. Go Mack Attack!

He is a team first guy always ready to battle! I want him back

Hollins best attributes are size and effort.  He has carved out a nice career by working harder then most everyone and doing the little things to endear him to staff, teammates and fans.

I would be shocked if he isn't re-signed.

Mack Hollins' under-the-radar value to the Bills offense, summed up in a short clip of just one play:

After the long Coleman catch Hollins made sure that scrum fell forward. I loved the attitude and the result.

When he downed Martins punt at the 3 and then screamed at the gunner who was supposed to block him “yea B****!”… makes me a fan.  Guy just always bring energy.  Good counter to guys like Cooper and Cook who are a little more reserved

I said this in the gameday thread, but I don't think he is ever not talking *****. It's like he's a bobble head doll out there. He's been a great addition for sure.

Interesting that you and several others have mentioned his trash talking as a major plus.  Curious to know whether you and others who've posted this think trash talking is an important skill.  I've never considered that to be important but maybe I'm missing something.

We have not had much edge to this team historically so I like the energy from it. He hasn't drawn any PF's so I assume he knows not to cross the line.

The dude knows how to talk the needed trash to the other team and get in their face and heads!  He's much more than just a WR, he's a total football player and someone in sure they love having on their side!!

Go Bills!!!

Very noticeable, yet still kinda surprising.  Dude very much has the hippy tree hugger vibes, but then brings aggression and grit to the field in spades lol interesting dude and much more appreciated in current role than being a #2 early season

he just has this...free air of confidence about him.   not sure how else to explain it..like its all confidence and good nature with no bad attitude injected.
