Dubie54 Posted Monday at 03:52 PM Posted Monday at 03:52 PM I thought Mack deserved his own thread. While he wasn’t a splashy off season acquisition, he certainly has fit right in with the Bills and I would love to see him on the Bills for a couple more years. He always seems to be around the ball and is a very smart player. Solid hands, versatile special teams guy, and I love his chill approach to life. I think he is another one of those personalities that keeps the Bills loose yet focused. The plays that he participated in have clearly helped the Bills at key moments. Go Mack Attack! 18 16 1 4 Quote
Big Turk Posted Monday at 03:53 PM Posted Monday at 03:53 PM (edited) He does all the little dirty things you need to win games and never complains and he has made a lot of big plays for us when needed also. They better extend this dude ASAP. Edited Monday at 03:53 PM by Big Turk 15 6 1 Quote
Dave_Bills Posted Monday at 03:54 PM Posted Monday at 03:54 PM Mack has been a wonderful addition to the team. Does everything he is asked, no ego, all heart. Perfect culture fit and he’s been a larger contributor than I anticipated 1 1 Quote
Billsfed1 Posted Monday at 03:55 PM Posted Monday at 03:55 PM Dude is a baller. Get rid of Samuel and draft/sign another WR. But my man Mack is clutch. Not great, but definitely good enough 👍 3 Quote
transient Posted Monday at 03:55 PM Posted Monday at 03:55 PM I'd take him over Gabe every day of the week. 5 8 1 Quote
BuffaloButt Posted Monday at 03:56 PM Posted Monday at 03:56 PM (edited) The dude knows how to talk the needed trash to the other team and get in their face and heads! He's much more than just a WR, he's a total football player and someone in sure they love having on their side!! Go Bills!!! Edited Monday at 03:57 PM by BuffaloButt 2 2 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted Monday at 03:56 PM Posted Monday at 03:56 PM I think he has been everything they asked Gabe Davis to be but better. He doesn't make the spectacular wow catch like Davis did from time to time but Hollins doesn't drop passes, he is one hell of a blocker, he's apparently a great teammate, plays ST's all for a nice tidy 2.6 million dollar tag. Ideally he is a WR # 4 on a good football team but this board did him really dirty after that Texans game. 6 Quote
khlax3 Posted Monday at 03:58 PM Posted Monday at 03:58 PM Bills should bring back Hollins, copper, and Ty Johnson and then focus rest of off-season and draft on defense. Maybe use a 4th on a receiver to develop but just keep this offense together. Hollins and Johnson should not cost much to re-sign and with the stats cooper has this year you could maybe do a 2 year 36 million dollar deal with a void year or 2 to keep cap hit resaonable 2 Quote
Blackbeard Posted Monday at 04:01 PM Posted Monday at 04:01 PM Hes a baller. That alone is amazing. But he is out there blocking and ST stuff. Huge asset for this team. 2 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted Monday at 04:04 PM Posted Monday at 04:04 PM Love him. Absolutely the unsung hero. I already stated it, but I'll re-apologize for calling him "this season's Trent Sherfield" back when we signed him and saying "If Hollins is getting many snaps, we're in trouble". I thought we brought him in as mostly a ST specialist. But dude is an all-around baller, and a great presence in the locker room. 7 minutes ago, khlax3 said: Bills should bring back Hollins, copper, and Ty Johnson and then focus rest of off-season and draft on defense. SCBills Posted Monday at 04:06 PM Posted Monday at 04:06 PM Mack Hollins and Ty Johnson are 100% re-sign guys Hollins is such a good WR4 in this Offense. Elite blocker and makes plays down the field when called upon. Add in his Special Teams ability and locker room presence and Beane struck gold with this signing. 1 6 Quote
Malazan Posted Monday at 04:08 PM Posted Monday at 04:08 PM He's also a master agitator. The type you see in hockey, not football. He has defensive players absolutely fuming at him week after week. 8 2 1 Quote
Mikie2times Posted Monday at 04:12 PM Posted Monday at 04:12 PM I said this in the gameday thread, but I don't think he is ever not talking *****. It's like he's a bobble head doll out there. He's been a great addition for sure. 2 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted Monday at 04:16 PM Posted Monday at 04:16 PM He's been a very nice signing. His one year of 57 receptions remains his outlier but he's already exceeded his usual 17-19 receptions per year. He has great hands. He is a willing and capable blocker. He is a much much better version of Kumerow. He is a near perfect 5th WR. Hope they bring him back. He can play a few more years doing the little things. Trying to say he is better than Gabe Davis is not true. Davis had between 35-48 receptions every year he was with Buffalo. Davis was far more productive but aside know had inconsistent hands. He could make the amazing catch and drop the routine ones. 1 4 Quote

Why can’t we have an appreciate post without crapping on a former Bill? Love Mack Hollins. I also enjoyed Davis scoring 4tds in a playoff game as well. 4 4 Quote

Hollins feels like exactly what Sherfield was supposed to be. I still don't want Hollins being a major part of the passing game on 3rd/4th down, but I'm very glad to have him on the team. Making plays left and right on special teams, contributing positively on offense both catching and blocking, and seems to be a great guy for locker room culture. Totally on board to bring him back next year. 2 Quote
Joe Mama Posted Monday at 04:27 PM Posted Monday at 04:27 PM Kinda like the Lorenzo Alexander FA signing a few years ago. OK, meh a ST guy nothing to see here. 1 Quote
