Actually they were right in one way, that was last game before Josh became the greatest offensive weapon in history. The next week was in Tampa and his second half there is when he became unstoppable

More specifically it was halftime of that game... but we punted in OT and they came down the field and scored a TD.

 

I hate that we lost that game and that they never played against each other in Josh's prime.

We did lose that game but only because the refs "missed" a blatant PI on Diggs.  Everyone knew who the best quarterback on the field was that day.

It's fantastic watching this now.  Not just since so much time has passed and both teams have gone in opposite directions - but the whole narrative they're espousing was demolished in the next 2 games against them that season.

 

But what you see here is the last gasp of the insufferable arrogance that characterized that whole region for 2 decades.  What losers.  This was after the wind game?  They think that actually counted for something other than "bad team beats good team in the worst conditions imaginable?"

The thing they should have taken from that game was that Allen could still throw 40 yard dimes downfield in those conditions while their QB only attempted 3 passes all game. They should have been terrified, not gloating.

Holy crap, that guy sucked.

 

My favorites were (1) Hyde's amazing play in the EZ during the playoffs; (2) Darius Slay's pick-six where he made Jones look like a pylon on his way past; and (3) the one against the Raiders near the end of the clip where Jones thought he could do the Josh.  You know, run to the right and throw deep off-platform down the sideline.  Ended up being about a 20-yard duck 🤣

Thanks for sharing that.  I found this response more pungent.  Who is the black man in the red tie?  For a guy whose team just got whalloped 47-17 in a game where their defense got taken for 47 points by an offense that scored a TD on every drive and they lost 47-17 (7 of which were 4th Q after Bills starters left the game), he's mighty Chirpy about how the Bills are not a good team.

I remember being decked out in my Bills swim trunks and Allen tank top at the beach somewhere in Maine arguing with some masshole about Mac Jones being "the next Tom Brady" around this time. How'd that work out for ya? Clown.
