Or something really amazing in the one. Antoine Winfield was a MUCH better Bill and I wouldn't have him in either. two contracts is a great criterion. On top of that, Wiley always rubbed me the wrong way. He thought he was way too good for Buffalo. The reality too is he wasn’t even a good player. Had one good (not even great) season in his entire career. Quote

Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted December 19 Posted December 19 16 hours ago, Sierra Foothills said: As far as Herbert, yeah very underwhelming. I think it was before last year and some pundit had him as the 3rd best QB in the league, ahead of Josh. We won't be seeing stupidity like that anymore. Whatever it is that makes a QB great, Herbert doesn't have it which is interesting, considering he's arguably Josh's equal athletically. Herbert is truly a physically gifted game manager. Herbert is big, strong, has a rocket arm and good straight line speed. What he lacks is agility and vision. Those last two traits are perhaps the most underrated traits Allen has. 1 Quote

If we get the 2 seed I'd much prefer the Chargers to the Broncos. I believe Harbaugh will get LA turned around but for now they just reek of the same fail to meet potential stench that they always have. 32 minutes ago, jcamm1966 said: Bunch of crap who cares about this garbage game Seeing as 49er and Fish fans disappear when things don't go their way.....Nobody? 1 1 Quote

Rubes Posted December 19 Posted December 19 Will this be the week we learn what this Bills defense is really about? Hearing a lot about how the last two weeks are unsustainable for the Bills D, especially when you get into the playoffs. Also hearing about how the last two weeks weren't necessarily an accurate picture of the defense, since it was against a Rams offense playing a perfect game and operating at an elite level, and a Lions team that was playing largely from behind. Not sure I buy that. I have my concerns. This week the defense should have no problems against a below average Pats**** offense. But we also know that we split with them last year against a terrible QB, and both games against them were close. It should still be a Bills win—but how close it is really depends on the Bills defense. Are they really as bad as we've seen over the past couple of weeks? Or was it really just the context of those two games? We'll see... Quote

I dom't think the defense this game will necessarily be representative of what we will see against good teams come playoff time - I'm hoping they do a lot of crazy simulated pressures, stunts, blitzes from crazy places etc that they wouldnt normally do as much to try to confuse the hell out of the rookie QB 1 Quote

RunTheBall Posted December 19 Posted December 19 (edited) I hope we run up the score and throw a 50 burger on these douche bags. I haven’t forgotten 20 years of The Hoodie and Brady running up the score and laughing at us. I haven’t forgotten Gronk (whose entire family should not be allowed to say they are from Buffalo) dropping an elbow on Tre. I’ve lived in NE for 22 years and these front running bandwagon fans SUCK. There has been ZERO Pats* talk for the past 5 years. You wouldn’t know they exist that’s how fickle their fans are (yes there are a few true believers but they are few and far between). I figure I have 14 more years of hating this franchise before I’m willing to let bygones be bygones. I hope they move to Hartford (again). Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, this a game where the D should dominate. McD/Babitch should confuse the hell out of Drake. Their O-line is atrocious. We need to stop the run, get pressure, and disguise the back end. That should ensure an easy W and as I said, I’d run up the score and then put Mitch in to hand off. I’d like to see Elam get another run at staring corner. I’d also like to see more 3 LB sets because they are going to try and run the ball and I’d like us to get a bit more experience doing that in time for the playoffs. I’d usually say this is a division game and they are all tough but there is no way this should be a game. Our talent is light years ahead of theirs. Stay away from Gonsalez, double Barmore (edit: just saw he’s out, thats good), run the ball and exploit their weak LBs and secondary. Edited December 19 by RunTheBall 3 Quote
