This won't be a blowout, but a controlled win.  Bills aren't going to show more cards on offense than is required to win this.

This will be a very calculated win by McD and crew.

This game is over after the coin toss.

NE has the 31st ranked offense and does not have the firepower to really challenge the Bills D like LA and Detroit did.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there has NEVER been a team in the history of the league give up 40+ points in back to back weeks during the regular season go on to win the SB.

Ouch.

I think the other amazing stat is that the 4 other teams that scored over 30pts in 8 consecutive games, all lost the Superbowl.  So… I’m really hoping we score over 30 this week to break that trend.  I guess we should hope the defense gives up 40 pts too?  Just to keep our Superbowl hopes alive.  Or do we just have to break one trend to win it all?  Because I really don't wanna give up 40pts too this team.

I guess we should just give up on the season then and do something else.  Whats the sample size for contenders that have given up 40+ in back to back weeks?

I don't mind Eagle and Davis. They are good announcers.

Davis is just okay imo, but Eagle is excellent at play by play. Pretty sure he called the Bills perfect playoff gave vs NE a few years back.

I am with you... like how many have done that... and lets not mail in the season... but I will say this like I said after the Detroit game... this Defense better figure it out and improve pretty quickly if they intend to win a SB.... because playing like we have the past two games is not gonna get it done in Jan and Feb... especially if the games are heavy run in the Buffalo snow.

The Eagles, Steelers, and Chargers aren't so bad as to make me discount that level of defensive improvement. I'll grant you the Giants, but the rest are viable NFL offenses.

Solid points.

I still think the Steelers will beat them again.

We also need to have a Herbert conversation. I'm starting to think maybe he's a better traits version of Kirk cousins. Which is still a good QB, but not elite like ppl think.

There is something about Herbert that is missing, I can't put my finger on it.

At least they are wearing red over white which is much better than the all reds and blues. If they continue wearing the red jersey every year then I hope red over white replaces the all reds which should never be worn again.

Disagree. I like all blues and all reds better than this.

I seriously don't know how this uniform doesn't make you think of the classic Patriots uniform.

I hate that.

This Ravens vs Steelers game who do we go for?

Cause If bills get the 1 seed, I think we want Baltimore to win the division and come 3rd so that they would play KC potentially in the 2nd round.

If bills get the 2 seed, then I think we want Pitts to get the 3 seed so they face them potentially in the 2nd round instead of Baltimore

Steelers. I hate Baltimore fans. Hope they dont win the division. Really though, let the chips fall where they fall. With a Pitts win, depending on other games they could be playing Baltimore in the first round. Lamar is 2-5 against the Steelers and thats when they had QBs like Duck Hodges. Pitts has their number. Not saying that Baltimore cant beat them but it's not often. Its like us with Miami. Also chips could play out Steelers win now and Baltimore still plays KC in the second round.

Chips where they fall cus we can still be the 1 or 2 seed. No sense trying to pray for certain wins (outside of KC losses) when we have no idea what seed we will end up yet.  Just my opinion.

Also, Im not scared. I dont think Baltimore would blow us out again this year.  Might be a tight either way thing but I dont think it'd be a blowout. Thats the playoffs though.

Steelers.  I don't want Baltimore to sniff the playoffs.  The Steelers and the Ravens can both play defense.  So it comes down to offense for me.  And I would rather face Pittsburgh.

The Ravens would have to lose out to miss the playoffs at this point. I don't see that happening. Im still rooting for the Steelers though.

Dolphins were flexed out of 4:05. Would I be correct in assuming Florida would all get Jags then? I'm asking for my mom that lives in Florida.

For me, the thing with Herbert (again this is just my observation) is that he doesn't seem to have that clutch gene or killer instinct. He has all the talent...but at no point does he ever feel inevitable like Mahomes and Allen often do. Herbert has all the measurables but seems to lack the finisher/closer side of things (for some reason...not sure why).

I do agree that sometimes there are quarterbacks that seem to lack a certain "it factor". Kirk Cousins is the best example. If you look at purely his statistical production in the prime of his career, it's very good, even elite at times. And yet, his teams rarely made much noise outside the regular season, and almost no one was looking at Kirk Cousins and saying "boy am I scared to play THAT guy".

Buy why? Why is that? I don't really have an answer. There was just...SOMETHING...that was missing. I don't know what. It was like empty statistical production. Is it heart? Will? Grit? The invisible, intangible, oft cited but impossible to define "it factor"? I don't know.

I'm not sure I'm ready to put Herbert in that category just yet, but I see where you're coming from. I'd like to see what he looks like in year two of a Jim Harbaugh offense, after they add some legitimate receiving weapons for him. He's a really talented guy. Does he have the "win or die trying" gene like Allen and Mahomes? Not sure yet. Jury's still out.

It has but consider the competition

The Eagles and Chargers were 2 of those games. Pitts and Giants the other 2.

Oh I agree that we cant have that defense in the playoff. Just sayin that I dont care about those off the wall stats.

Been saying it for years now... Heart. Thats whats missing. Guy mechanically is sound. He has a gifted arm. Processes pretty well. Doesnt have the drive to win like Allen and Mahomes does.

The answer is right there in your rumination.

What he's missing is "it".

The man has zero IT factor.
