This won't be a blowout, but a controlled win.  Bills aren't going to show more cards on offense than is required to win this.

This will be a very calculated win by McD and crew.

I really hate that we're wearing Patriots colors.

Maybe this would have been cooler with different helmets like those blue ones Josh wore at one of the blue & red games

At least they are wearing red over white which is much better than the all reds and blues. If they continue wearing the red jersey every year then I hope red over white replaces the all reds which should never be worn again.

It doesn't matter as much if we let their offense march up the field and down the field every drive.

The ravens defense has good personnel and has been playing better lately.

They're still getting blown out in Buffalo.

Nobody is stopping Allen guys.

I think you mean if the Steelers win.

In that case, Steelers have 2 games on Ravens with 2 games to go. Even if the Ravens catch up to the Steelers at the end, Steelers would win the division because of head to head results.

Oh sorry I misread your original comment, I see what you're saying now

I think the problem with that philosophy is, by the time you realize that you better bring out your cards or you'll lose, it can be too late.

I think that's how the Bills started out the game against the Rams - "we don't need all our cards against this 6-6 team, we'll just save them for next week against the 12-1 Lions".

But they miscalculated: the Rams were playing for their playoff lives, knowing their best chance at the playoffs is to win the division and believing that Seattle is vulnerable.  And just like that, the Rams are now leading the division, with very winnable games against the Jets and 'Zona then their final fate-control game against Seattle.

I think if you're keeping cards in your pocket, the players know it and it's hard to get them to buy into the "bring everything, bring peak intensity" mindset.

Well, as we learned Sunday, they just need a few stops so they get a lead. Then keep up the scoring.

Especially when Lamar turns into La"mew" like every playoff run.

Still don't know what's better: 1 seed and end up having to face Baltimore in the 2nd round.

Or 2 seed and play someone like the chargers and then the Steelers in the divisional round .

In a perfect world bills finish 1 and Baltimore gets the 3 seed

I don't think it matters honestly.

With the change to a 4:30 start, most of the nation is getting Bills-Pats on local TV.

But for some reason, here in Atlanta the Miami-49er's game is being shown.

Maybe the local affiliate figures they've shown enough of the Bills.  ?

But they're going to show 2 teams that have been virtually eliminated from the post season?  Maybe they expect it will be a more competitive and entertaining game for the casual fan.

I have Sunday Ticket so it doesn't matter to me, but the Orlando area is stuck watching Jags/Raiders instead of the Bills....yuck!!

For those saying the Ravens defense stinks. Well...it DID stink. It's been getting A LOT better lately:

I mean that's a pretty cherry picked stat considering they played the Eagles, Chargers and Giants those last 3 weeks. Two of those offenses just suck and can't score points and the Eagles didn't need to score more than 24 to win that game.

It has but consider the competition

The Eagles, Steelers, and Chargers aren't so bad as to make me discount that level of defensive improvement. I'll grant you the Giants, but the rest are viable NFL offenses.
