There were lots of stories about how players who didn’t want to come here then learned to love and embrace the city and fan base, but aside from just wanting to play in the NFL what player from a warm weather or big-city environment would have wanted to be drafted by the Bills? Much ado about nothing. P.S. As an aside, Goff is criminally underrated. He makes some ridiculously good throws and is tough as nails. Goff respects Buffalo now. He is 0-3 lifetime vs. Buffalo. He dissed Buffalo...he is persona non grata AFAIC. F' him. We will teach him more respect for years to come. He will regret his decision. Edited December 16 by chongli 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Plenty of guys have not wanted to come here. Who cares?? We have a great team packed with Buffalo guys and the best QB in football right now. That’s all I care about. Quote
SF Bills Fan Posted December 16 Posted December 16 At the time he was drafted, the Bills were still in the dark times, though the light was at the end of the tunnel. I bet that there were lots of players that would’ve not wanted to go to Buffalo. Most would be diplomatic enough, not to mention that, but can’t really blame him. Worked out for the best since we ended up with a better situation.. Quote

He seems to be a legit tweeter and is followed by a number of Buffalo media like Nate Geary, Air Raid, Cover 1, etc. Take it for what it's worth. (Oh, and Buffalo made the payoffs the year LA drafted him.) Very funny thing to get mad about. Do you think Josh Allen was hoping he’d get drafted by the Bills on draft night? MikePJ76 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 I am so mad about this. Livid! I’m livid. I am going to pour out my coffee and go sit in the yard and stare at the clouds. 1 Quote

After years of Buffalo being the laughing stock of the country growing up in the 80's, I don't take kindly to people mocking the city. Edited December 16 by chongli Quote
DasNootz Posted December 16 Posted December 16 He went #1 overall... We were picking 18th. I doubt he put much thought into coming to Buffalo. We went on to have a stellar draft without him. I think we did ok... 1) Shaq Lawson 2) Reggie Ragland 3) Adolphus Washington 4) Cardale Jones 5) Jonathan Williams 6) Kolby Listenbee 6) Kevon Symour 1 1 2 Quote
Your Brown Eye Posted December 16 Posted December 16 I was so pissed off when I read this news I decided not to clean up my dog's poop on our morning walk today, left a steaming one right on the side walk. Screw you Goff. 1 Quote

I think in his heart of hearts he probably would’ve preferred somewhere like Denver. And yet, he’s embraced Buffalo and the Bills. Which is why it’s a funny thing to get mad about. 1 Quote

Roundybout Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Makes sense, we were in the midst of the Rex Ryan era and year 15 of the drought. 1 Quote
Doc Posted December 16 Posted December 16 There’s a local female lawyer with the last name Goff. She’s gotten Tyson to do billboard ads for her. She just got Jared to do billboard and TV ads a few months ago. I wonder how much she had to pay him? 1 Quote
T master Posted December 16 Posted December 16 After last night i'll put this in the words of a famous Toby Keith song for Jared Goff . HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW ??? 😎 GO BILLS !!! 1 Quote
