Jared Goff didn't want to be drafted by Buffalo (unsubstantiated)

I hadn't seen this anywhere and I thought this deserved its own thread. The guy made this allegation. He seems to be a legit tweeter and is followed by a number of Buffalo media like Nate Geary, Air Raid, Cover 1, etc. Take it for what it's worth.

 

(Oh, and Buffalo made the payoffs the year after LA drafted him.)

2026 should be Lions at Bills as long as they don’t switch team pairings….

Bills drafted 19 that year (2016).  Goff went #1.

Are we supposed to be “up in arms” about this?  Before the McD era, who did want to come to Buffalo?  There were lots of stories about how players who didn’t want to come here then learned to love and embrace the city and fan base, but aside from just wanting to play in the NFL what player from a warm weather or big-city environment would have wanted to be drafted by the Bills?

 

Much ado about nothing.

 

P.S.  As an aside, Goff is criminally underrated.  He makes some ridiculously good throws and is tough as nails.

For all we know, i could be Goff's father?!?..........i was known to partake in the Buffalo nightlife back in the day once in a while and i don't mind saying that ole Sweats used to be a bit of a dog.

 

Nowadays?..........well, i'm an outright mess, but i think i'm either the father of Lions Jared or Subway Jared.
