If Allen played in a controlled environment every home game he would be unstoppable. The only thing that can stop him is Zaney Buffalo weather where talent is omitted and the luckier team wins. Just think it was short sighted to know you have the best player in the world why would you not want him to have the best possible playing conditions. How often does a team have the clear cut best best QB in the league? It may never happen for Buffalo again. We have 9 more years or so with him I just wish half his games weren’t a coin flip cause of weather.

Im a fan who wanted and still wouldve preferred a dome.  However, we are not going into a stadium anything resembling our current spot.  That stadium is known for crazy sideways snow and swirling winds in endzones.

From my understanding the new spot is going to be closer to a sunroof, than it is 4 windows down in your car.  Im def cool with that. Keeps the fans a bit more comfortable, as the wind in the cold kills you.  Visually it should let some snow fall in straight down thats kinda pretty and not effect the passing game all that much

Can we please quit whining about Josh needing a dome?  He played college at Wyoming. Having been stationed there, I can tell you that winters in Orchard Park do not present as much of a challenge.

The real mystery to me is why anyone thinks this is actually a relevant conversation at this point.

It’s the perfect topic for todays world. People can sit back and complain and say I told you so with no repercussions.

There was an analysis and no dome for a Landry list of reasons. If Bills win they did so in spite of no dome…if they lose….its the damn no dome.  Win win

He did win that game in the snow correct or did i miss something ??

He also lost to Cinci in a weather game and almost lost to freaking Skyler Thompson and the piss poor Patriots. Weather eliminates talent period

Didn't see any comments after the week 5 Houston game in a dome.

Look at Josh Allen's record at home in December LOL he hasn't lost at home in 3 years in December

It shows why we don't need a dome... Any other team coming here is drastically going to get slowed down more than Josh Allen is for the most part

We have Superman, snow wind or rain doesn't affect him like it does other quarterbacks.. that's an advantage for us ... He has a cannon and he can run

We lost to Cincinnati in the playoffs in a year where the bills were mentally and physically drained.. we literally had a guy die on the field and get revived.. team was drained it had nothing to do with Josh Allen not being able to play in weather

If we get real Buffalo weather any quarterback in the world is going to struggle more than Josh which means it's hurting them more than it hurts us

5-0 in last 5 home December games

That Skyler Thompson game was a weather game?  It was like low 30s and sunny in mid January lol I think I took my jacket off even.  Issue in that game was Josh Allen turning the ball over, he was throwing it all over the field fine

What piss poor patriots weather game even was there?  They were a wildcard team for that crazy wind game (who we absolutely nuked in very cold weather in the playoffs).  Last year we blew a game to them in perfect weather and didn’t have any trouble in the rematch outside of a pats kickoff return to start the game

I don’t even think the pats wind game is relevant anymore, the run blocking has improved since then

I do think cincy was better prepared for that light snow game but we must’ve learned our lessons in that one because the last few snow games I’ve seen our opponents are slipping all over the place but we seemed pretty much unaffected.

That light snow in that Miami rematch won us the game a couple years back.  They were in control and both of their lines immediately looked like they were on roller skates the second it started snowing

That is good because it is not happening.  Unless you want to golf

Not sure what you are saying we have a big armed qb and play well in the snow if you are saying we are not getting a dome i think that is pretty apparent at this point although I remember the golf dome deflating in a storm so we may not have one of those if it gets nasty this winter lol

People seem to forget that this is a delta situation:  that is we know Allen isn't as effective in high winds, sub freezing temperatures and snow, BUT the opponent QB is going to almost always be much worse.  In recent times think the Dolphins Saturday night game in 2022 when the Bills rallied from being down 8 points in a 4th quarter snow storm that blew in off the lake.  Miami & Tua flash froze while Allen & the Bills scored 11 points and kicked a walk off FG to win.  Or how about just a couple of weeks ago in a lake effect snow storm against SF?

If yesterday's game had been played in Buffalo during a lake effect storm like we had against SF Allen doesn't put up the numbers he did in the dome but he does way better then Goff who flounders and the Bills likely win the game by 21 points . Ditto for the Rams game.  It's like having the best of both worlds:  the ability to explode on any defense in a dome while having a great home field advantage in the cold/wind/snow.

Yeah, but look what the other team did too.  I think the Bill's have more of an advantage having Allen playing outside in the cold against other teams as he has such a rocket arm.

Would Allen's stats likely be better, probably yes, but not sure the Bills would be better.

If you have Allen as your fantasy QB, then a dome would be great.  But if you're looking for team to win the most, outdoors is better when you have Allen.

Last two games prove Allen deserved a dome

He's really good at  football "proves" that he deserves the taxpayers to fork out for a dome?

You need to grab yourself a course in logic.

Yeah, he's terrific. But that doesn't show what you think it does.

That's true. And he's never lost any games in good conditions.

New stadium shoulda been a dome 100%.

They rushed and botched that thing and now they are a bajillion dollars over budget

slap in the face of working buffaloians to to use “Legends” for Jerry Jones and not Delaware North - a Buffalo company for over 100 years

You want the snow globe with this qb because nobody can match him in those conditions

No one can match him, period.  On the other hand, I believe an inferior team has a better chance against the Bills in a snow game at OP than in a controlled environment…snow adds randomness that evens the playing field against an inferior opponent.  It’s also worth remembering that two of our three division rivals, plus the Chiefs and the entire AFC North, are cold-weather, outdoor teams who are unlikely to be troubled by playing in cold, snowy weather…the NFC is more of a dome, fair weather conference.
