Division games are weird. We could lose any of them. Remember when the Browns beat the Steelers a few weeks ago?

Correct...We beat the Jets on MNF on a late 4th quarter game winning FG.  We then beat the Dolphins on a 61 yard game winning FG...   Division games are tough.  The one good thing is that the next two games are at home.

I see what you're saying, but I don't think so myself. TJ watt might be out that game as well as he has an injury.

I would say it's "possible" to your point, but unlikely IMO

It would be so Chiefs like if TJ Watt misses that game. I swear that every time the Chiefs play a good team, they missing some of their best players. Not even just this year. Like every year.

I like this Steelers team, but they are very likely to go 0-3 or 1-2 in their last three games. Two hard division games and a game against the chiefs.

I dunno man. Lamar has a 2-5 record against the Steelers. They seem to have his number like we have the Dolphins number. Last time Lamar beat Pitts was 2019

Not going to take beating the Patriots or Jets for granted.  I think they'll both be playing hard as spoilers.  But it's pretty safe to be confident the Bills will win out.

It beats last year where it came down to the Dolphins game last year for the #2 seed.

Division games are always tough. Especially late in season. I don't expect any of the next 3 games to be "gummies". Both teams have pretty good defenses that can keep them in the game...and the Jets have found some stride on offense.

I honestly could see us dropping one to the Pats. It's tough to beat the same team twice in a three week span. Especially if we rest a few extra guys week 18.

I can absolutely see the Chiefs potentially lose at the Steelers and at the Broncos. Add in the fact that Mahomes is injured and they have a short week against the Texans this week. I want the one seed and get the rest during the bye.

If it’s a magic season, let’s hope for ALL the magic!

Never assume anything about nfl games.  Especially division games.

This is true. The Bills are 3-0 in the East so far but could have lost at the Jets and at home against Miami. Division games can be a B word.

Hope the Bills don't have a letdown against the Pats. Coming off a huge win where it was built as a potential Super Bowl preview. Now they play the hapless Pats. I don't think the Bills will lose but I could see them at least starting out somewhat slow.

Sunday currently shows a high of 18 degrees in WNY but no snow.

It really is week to week.  The Pats are not super sexy but Maye completes a high percentage of his passes and they like to pound the ball.  Turnovers are always the ultimate equalizer....they lost to these guys last year too.  Having said that, the Bills understand consistency is important and I expect a win.  Just saying the other team always has a path.

Texans are so bad. They will beat them with or without Mahomes.

Texans beat the Bills.  Mixon, Collins, Dell can all hurt any team in the league

Exactly. Chiefs losing 2 out of 3 seems unlikely to me.

So the next best thing would them to lock up the 1 seed so bills can rest their starters

If the Bills are up in the score in any of their remaining games do you think McD pulls Josh and some others to let them get a bit more rest & keep them from possibly getting hurt ? I'm no football guy just a fan but i'm thinking that might be a good thing ...

It's definitely possible I think and it's a good point by you . The game would have to be in hand I would say though as I don't think he would tried to get too cute with it

Texans are a mess right now on offence.

I watched that full game yesterday against Miami and they couldn't move the ball against a mediocre defence. (167 yards or something)

Their only two TDs came from a fake punt that got them to the 5 yard line, and a fumble set up on Miamis 28.

I would be very surprised if they beat the chiefs in KC

Yeah, that could happen.  Probably not, but it's possible.

So depending on what the Chiefs do, the Bills can either get the 1 seed and get the true bye, or lock up the 2 seed before the final game against the Pats, and treat that as a bye, sitting as many starters as possible.

Agreed about the Texans.  Despite their woes they have the AFCS locked up and no realistic chance of getting the 3 seed.  So they may be coasting.  We'll see.  Whether the Chiefs have Mahomes at all, or if Mahomes is limited, will be a big factor.  But KC's defense is so stout that even without Mahomes I might pick the Chiefs in that game.

I wouldn't say it's a lock at all. It sure looks like it based on our schedule, but those are division games, and Josh has had a tough time with the Jets in the past.

Hopefully it'll be easier now that Saleh is gone, but the Pats also beat us last year with Mac Jones (when they had the worst offense in the league). You just never know, and I'm hoping we get through healthy & with some great momentum (and a Josh Allen MVP).

If the Bills lose to the Pats on Sunday, while the Steelers beat the Ravens and the Chiefs beat the Texans on Saturday, that will lock the Bills out of the 1 seed, and it will put the 2 seed for the Bills into question.

So imagine this all happening, and the Bills needing to root for the Chiefs to beat the Steelers on Christmas.  Boy if THAT wouldn't put a sour taste in our mouths while trying to enjoy Christmas dinner.

I hope McD has the Bills ready to steamroll the Pats this weekend.
