Tuesday - classroom game review

Wednesday - Game concept install and practice

Snow

Thanks.  I don't live in the area any more.  I guess the snow was so bad that players couldn't get to the facility then?

He's so timid and awkward at these things. I really hope it's just being camera shy because he inspires zero confidence in these end of game speeches.

He needs to clap more!

Did you see and hear the audience?

The lengths y’all will reach to take a shot at McDermott is crazy to me lol there’s plenty of valid things to criticize him for but saying stuff like this just feels like you’re being straight up disingenuous and will attack him for anything and everything

My all time favorite is he claps too much!

Back when I was an athlete, an extra day off in season allowed the body to rest and repair.  Definnitely a good practice late in a season.  JUst enough practice to put in the game plan and polish up timing.

Yes.  They had to do a zoom meeting instead.

This wouldn't happen if they had built a dome

Actually it would have since the players weren’t able to leave their homes because of the snow.  Last I looked they have an indoor practice facility.

I was being sarcastic.

I had a problem kicking off to the end zone with 2:03 on the clock. It had the effect of giving the Lions an extra TO; making them field the KO should take at least 3 seconds eliminating 2 minute warning on next play from scrimmage.

I totally disagree because a long return has a risk of ruin factor that a single play from the 30 yard line doesn’t.  The only truly unacceptable outcome there is that they score and make it 48-42 with enough time to kick back off to us and use their timeouts.  Any version of them kicking onside is a win.
