Man they found a way to win with the defense becoming second / third string.

I don’t get that vibe at all from his locker room speeches. Not every coach is a master orator like Marv Levy … lol

Honestly after the Rams game and coming into this week missing 3/4's of our starting Secondary, I was worried.  This was one of the Bills more impressive wins I can remember.  Great job to go out there and set the tone and keep pace.  

 

That being said...this was the 2nd week in a row where a "tush push" decision was made very poorly.  Last week, we never should have called that and thrown 3 straight times to not have to burn a TO so we were not forced to onside, or if we did onside, could still get a stop to get the ball back.  This week, we so very obviously should call the tush push and we don't and end up costing us the TD by getting backed up by penalties.

I'm the biggest McD hater here, but I'm having a hard time coming up with something negative to say regarding his leadership qualities.  He's a superb leader of men, even if not the most eloquent.  It's his game day decision making where he falls short.

He’s a very good HC, with an End of Game Achilles decision making heel.

 

It doesn’t hurt having one of the Greatest NFL Players of All Time leading the charge every week! Someone capable of doing ANYTHING to win and thankfully putting McD in position to NOT have to make those decisions.

Maybe I missed something, but why did we only have one day of practice this past week?  Isn't it usually ~3 days in a normal week, something like this....?

 

Monday- Recovery & medical checks & classroom game review 

 

Tuesday - classroom game review 

 

Wednesday - Game concept install and practice 

 

Thursday - practice

 

Friday - practice 

 

Saturday - final walk through and travel if needed
