RoscoeParrish Posted December 16 Posted December 16 (edited) McD’s focus and commitment to building a physical offensive line and a team able to run the ball has freed Josh up to have the best year of his career in a multi dimensional offense. Many on this board were critical of him being an old conservative outdated defensive mind for his constant focus on being able to run the ball and win up front. Not only was McD right that this was the answer, it unleashed our franchise QB to win his first MVP and hopefully a Lombardi. Go Bills. Edited December 16 by RoscoeParrish 6 4 4 1 2 3 10 3 4 Quote

Are you asserting that the gm determines the type of player to target independently of the coaching philosophy/scheme? That would be so naive I would be embarrassed for you. 1 Quote

Yes but it was McD who fired Dorsey, hired Brady, and made it a focal point that we would never get to where we wanted to go unless we could run the ball and win the line of scrimmage. That's fair & a good point. I just wish the D. would find it's footing again. 1 Quote

All the guys on our OL were here before the Dorsey/Brady change. Some/Most were here before Kromer. So nah. It wasnt McD. 1 1 Quote
Nelius Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Did McD get him to break up with that instagram girlfriend? Well played, Sean 1 Quote

His philosophy is who we are today. It worked. 1 1 Quote
Don Otreply Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Sean has done a very good job dragging this team out of the laughing stock hole they were in for what seemed to be forever, I will always feel this way, does he frustrate us fans? Sure does, but that’s the life of a NFL head coach, they get dumped on by fans like me, who don’t know a hell of a lot about what it truly takes to manage a pro football team, yet he doesn’t flip me and the rest of my ilk off and say do better if you’re so damn smart, Sean buckles down and keeps doing the best he knows how with the constant changes in personnel, injuries etc, and puts a damn good team out there every damn year, something for all us smart guys should give thought to every so often. GO BILLS!!! 1 3 2 Quote

DrDawkinstein Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Is Sean McDermott even working as a Linebackers coach somewhere right now if the Bills dont draft Josh Allen? Who made who here? 1 1 2 1 Quote
nedboy7 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 We have no idea what Josh would be like if he wasn't drafted and developed by the Bills. Any other narrative is just pure BS. 3 Quote
