The Lions still only had 14pts very late in the third quarter.

When the Bills went up 3 TDs at that point, there was only a little over a quarter left to play in the game and they started trading yards for clock on defense.

That's where those points came from.

DET only had about 30yrds of offense in their two drives coming out of halftime and didn't get anything going until the Bills started playing against the clock late in the 3rd.

Kyreem Jackson was playing safety in the 4th quarter, Spector was our Linebacker in the 4th, Elam was our starting CB (from being inactive several games). People need to get a grip on what was expected of this D against the number 1 offense in the league when they were forced to pass against this secondary.

I think the observation is - what happened to that pass rush in the final quarter especially on 3rd and long.  They all appear to have disappeared.

It was typical JA, doing JA things.

 

If JA has to put on the cape and do a shootout every week to compensate for a piss poor D, then i'd put my money on JA allllllllllllllll day long.

This was a full team win.........every facet stepped up to win this one and although our D was depleted and decrepit, the team secured the win.

Every Bills fan should be on their knees every night thanking god for blessing us with Josh Allen, and praying for him to get the SB championship(s) he so much deserves. 

 

There was a time when every black family in America had a portrait of MLK and/or Malcolm X and many families had a portrait of JFK prominently displayed in their homes. 

 

In 2024, EVERY family in Buffalo should have a portrait of Joshua Patrick Allen displayed where every person who enters the home can see it and know the good quality and taste of the homeowner.

The Bills now have one of the best O-Lines in the entire NFL, along with a really good running game.

And even without an elite #1 wide receiver, they have an extremely versatile, consistent and effective group of weapons.

So I would not agree that it's all Josh Allen.

 

The defense has been really good for a chunk of the season, and is one of the best at creating turnovers.

When they aren't good though, they are terrible (like the past two games).  And they always seem to be dealing with clusters of injuries at the same position.

Top 3 safeties, starting corner and starting linebacker down.

It's the epitome of TFG football. You can have the perfect defensive play call, you have everything executed perfectly there is no option, it's a dead play. Then you can't bring him down, he scrambles, he launches it 60 yards on the run for an explosive play.

The entire offense played well. Many of the "experts" are saying this is the best offense Allen's has played with. So, he is getting plenty of help. The defense played well for 3 quarters which allowed them to build a 35-14 lead. The 4th quarter could have been better, but Detroit was making a frantic push to get back in the game. With that offense they were going to get their yards and points. Great TEAM win yesterday.
