Maybe this was discussed previously . Did coach mismanage again at the end on lions last TD. Since clock was the enemy of the Lions shouldn’t our DB just tackled the WR’s out running routes and not allow them to catch pass.

Campbell's onside kick attempt with 12 mins left trumped it all, but ideally:

1. QB sneak on 3rd and 1 late in the 2nd - this was an obvious bad decision not to do and worst mistake.

2. FG attempt with 2:06 left - Buffalo should have let the clock wind and called a TO with 2:03 left, eliminating the 2 minute warning for Detroit

3. With 16 seconds left, a defensive penalty would have been a great thing to eliminate precious time.  Benford should have grabbed his wr and not allowed him to catch the TD.  It would have been 1st a goal from the 1 with 12 seconds left, reducing at least 7 seconds from the clock.

We won, but we never make it easy on ourselves

Don’t sell the players short ; they made plenty of mistakes. Poor tackling, bad angles and allowing Lions WRs to get out of bounds

I hope to NEVER see Cam Lewis in a major role on defense again

Anyone have a twitter clip of the 2nd quarter 4th down play to Ty Johnson?

That entire play was a thing of beauty. The way the whole offensive unit handled themselves from the time they broke huddle, came to the line, went through the hard count, and pulled off the play. Some really well coached, well executed, high level football.

The Bills also punted in the 3rd quarter up big with 25 seconds on the play clock and a running clock and I even asked in the game thread why the hell they are punting with that much time on the clock.

It was really loud and I think after last week they just wanted to get the punt off.

Because…like so many posters here.. you want the defense to suck so McD can be fired before the playoffs?    But if he keeps winning..they won’t fire him.   Such a conundrum.

If I wanted the defense to suck, I’d be elated after today’s games.

Acho is actually an MVP voter. Not just a random talking head.

He’s also a former JA skeptic. So his take has weight.

That entire clip looked like he was indexing his vote on this game...and fully expecting us to lose 😅

We can make more NFL history against the ex-evil empire next week.

The problem is that McD will sit Josh once we have a big lead.   We might not get to 30.

So, let me get this straight.

We get a big win in a game against the team that everyone has been saying is the best team in the league. On the road. In their building. With them coming off of a mini-bye with extra time to prepare. A team who is averaging 34 points a game and has scored over 40 points 5 times this season. Heck, they've scored over 50 points twice this year. They have a 183+ point differential on the year. 183! And against this juggernaut offense, we are missing 3/4s of our secondary, and then lose Cole and Milano during the game.

And people are complaining about the head coach and the defense? 🤦‍♂️

Guys, we won.

Go Bills!

You forget to mention the Bills only practiced once last week because of the snowstorm.  And still beat the hottest team in the league.
