This is shocking and appalling. I knew some rough stuff was happening at the bottom of those fumble piles but this is horrifying. Does he mean they are sticking fingers where the 🌞 don’t shine !?

I hope the league knows what Dan Campbell is teaching his guys.

Biting, spitting, punching fingers in weird places. All been part of the game for a long time in scrums.

Mad credit to Taron. He had two big plays, the onside recovery and the hit on St Brown.

Pretty sure Benford had the hit that caused the St. Brown fumble.

Basically no practice for a defense with different starters against one of tje best offenses in the league. I still think there are some big things to clean up but it was a good enough performance.

My only fear with the offense is that Josh is on a heater too soon. The guy looks like the best player to ever play the position right now

The Lions have been getting all the hype (rightfully so) but the Vikings are very quietly about to have the same record as them after beating the bears tonight.

They made one of the greatest offenses of all time, one dimensional, and I think that's about all we can ask of them, considering the injuries.

Teams break down video of the games whether they win or lose for a reason. The retrospective is important.

I made a birdie once golfing after skipping the ball off a pond on to the green.  The caddie told me “we are writing down numbers not drawing pictures”.

Yesterday’s game probably had too many unforced errors mixed in among some excellent offensive play.  But the Bills will writing down 1 in the W column and moving on to the Patriots.  A W was not a given before the game.

Even though they gave up 42 points I thought the defense played well at least for 3 quarters. The Bills did jump out to a 35-14 lead so the defense must have been doing something right. The 4th quarter the Lions were making a frantic push to get back in the game. It would have been nice if the defense could have closed the game better. In the end a win is a win is a win.

Apparently the Lions were getting dirty with their fingers on the last onside kick and were sticking them where they should not be.

Not surprising considering Campbell preaches going after knee caps and is pushing a culture influenced by the Bounty Gate Saints culture he was a part of

He has never legitimately advocated for targeting kneecaps. He used “biting kneecaps” as a metaphor in his first press conference - it was hilarious.

As for the fingers and whatnot in the scrum, welcome to football. I am sure our players do it too, along with 30 other teams.

Let’s not make things up here.

Thought about that too.

But outside of the Ravens/Texans games early in the season (before we got settled at the outside WR position), this is really the Josh Allen that we've gotten all season long.  I don't think we are just seeing him in the zone.  I think he's actually elevated himself to another level.

Part of the reason he wasn't putting up 3-5 touchdowns EVERY week is simply because he hasn't had to...

He's sat an entire game worth of 4th quarters, because the Bills were so far ahead.

He might actually be...

I mean we are talking about the most productive player on a per game basis(TDs/game) in the history of the NFL all-time and a guy who broke Manning's record for most TDs thru the first 8 seasons in 6.75 seasons.

Imagine being so much better than the previous most productive player over an 8 year stretch that you accomplished that in under 7 years.

It's absurd what Allen is doing and I don't think you can even come up with terms to describe it...there are no words or phrases of the level of absurdity that are enough.

If we score 30 points again next week we become the only team in NFL history to do it 9 straight games. Currently tied with 4 other teams at 8 for most ever.

Clearly, with no practice this week, Bass had him out on the Chipp Strip.

Dude did you see that hit by coke Bishop on a run play. He completely destroyed David Montgomery

Coke Bishop is his Chipp Strip nickname

We only practiced once this week and then went on the road and beat the best team in the NFL and yet the coaching staff gets relentless criticism because this game wasn’t easy….

No, because they actively shift out of what is working on Defense in order to play "safe" (read: soft) and let the other team back into the game.

Kudos for having a great game plan to stop Detroit. Criticism for getting away from it whenever we got up and let them hang around. Whenever we shifted to "protect the lead" the Lions would go right down and score a TD in like 5 plays. Just keep doing what works.

It's classic McD, and it WILL bite us in the ass in the playoffs if he keeps it up.

I think part of the defense playing less aggressively later in the game was due to injuries.  They just didn’t have the players to stick with their original defensive design.

Why did we get away from it when we were up 14-0 in the 1st quarter?
