Doc Brown Posted Monday at 08:36 AM Posted Monday at 08:36 AM You kind of got the full McDermott experience. Led his team to a resilient gutsy effort facing a team on the road who had extra rest with your team having a missed practice due to three effin feet of snow in less than a day. Then he calls a timeout on 4th and 15 late in the game to make sure his defense is lined up giving Ben Johnson the opportunity to call a fricken hook n ladder which of course works. Only to have us hold our breath as the Special Teams almost effs up the onside kick. 5 Quote

wjag Posted Monday at 10:48 AM Posted Monday at 10:48 AM (edited) Haven't done one of these in a while: 1. Allen doing Allen things all game. 2. 35-14 people. Game wasn't close even though score said otherwise. 3. If you told me that the Bills would hold the Lions to under 50 yards rushing I would have thought you crazy. 4. Bass is just scary 5. Again if you told me that Bills would score 48 and Cooper would not be targeted I would have thought you were off your meds. 6. Josh Allen.. MVP as in Most Vicious Player 7. Scored 48, should have been 55 and could have been more. 8. The onside kick, flea flicker, bigman TD, hook and ladder. Definitely a fun team to watch and root for. 9. ST Brown taketh and giveth in same game. 10. The Bills scoring on both half first possessions was impressive, especially since Campbell coming out of half said they need to stop them with that possession. and a few bonus thoughts 11. RBs and TEs for the Bills won the day against banged up Lions LBs. 12. Great to have Kincaid back. 13. Loved Knox's plays yesterday. 14. Hate playing in Detroit. I don't care what people say, that field, new or old, is a mash tent. Look at the Lions injuries this year. Insane. Edited Monday at 12:54 PM by wjag . 5 1 Quote

Only to have us hold our breath as the Special Teams almost effs up the onside kick. At the end of the day, the score was much closer than the game, we were up 3 scores majority of 2nd half. I understand the T.O , he's notorious for doing that but hats off to a great offense. We held one of the best rushing teams to under 50 yards on the ground, ya Goff had 490 but seemed to prioritize stopping the run, probably knowing we'd get wrecked with a depleted secondary. Overall, back to back road games, limited practice/ walk-through, depleted back 7 and this team showed up BIG. They had 0 points the 1st quarter, also stopped them before half and after half, which let us get that 17 point lead. McD is a helluva coach, should be in consideration for COTY Edited Monday at 11:11 AM by JerseyBills 3 Quote

Allen said after the game he's fine and X-rays negative. Dude did you see that hit by coke Bishop on a run play. He completely destroyed David Montgomery Dorian Williams had a huge hit too. His man covg ability and athletic ability allows him to matchup vs anyone. I was so proud of him today 4 Quote

I knew some rough stuff was happening at the bottom of those fumble piles but this is horrifying. Does he mean they are sticking fingers where the 🌞 don’t shine !? I hope the league knows what Dan Campbell is teaching his guys. Mad credit to Taron. He had two big plays, the onside recovery and the hit on St Brown. Quote
Big Turk Posted Monday at 11:58 AM Posted Monday at 11:58 AM This game was also a scoreigami. The first time in the NFL there has ever been a 48-42 game. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-upset-win-over-lions-ends-with-final-score-thats-never-been-seen-before-in-nfl-history/ 4 hours ago, Dr Krentist said: https://x.com/_MLFootball/status/1868487911127318545 😆 Yeah, what happens at the bottom of those piles is not for the faint of heart.
