McD doesn’t get nearly enough credit for the change in offensive philosophy. He was bashed for trying to run the ball as being a conservative old mind. Not only was he right, it led to JA winning MVP and becoming the best player in the league. Edited December 16 by RoscoeParrish 4 1 1 2 Quote

Our coordinator either is a failure or our players suck. We are melting down defensively before our eyes. They came out early in this one and set the tone... But they lost it... And after that 3rd and 17 TD they were just awful... Quote

Bills kept taking 17 point leads, then losing them. Whatever, happy for the win Yeah, games like that it's down to who gets the quick start. It's like having a break in tennis, just gives you that cushion and allows you to keep your nose in front. The punt block last week really screwed them because they were playing catchup the whole time 1 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 16 Posted December 16 This defense needs to be fixed but wins against KC and Detroit 👀josh Allen is the best player in the league and second isn’t close enough to see their jersey Quote
TFBillsfan Posted December 16 Posted December 16 (edited) What a great road victory. The offense is on fire and our D unfortunately is a dumpster fire. Again our basic rush four straight up is getting destroyed. Oliver had a game but our DE’s are pitiful. How many 3rd and long did the D give up? Bills were up 21 pts with 3 minutes remaining in the 3rd qtr and needed to recover an onside kick to win. Josh Allen has 1003 yards 14 TDs and no turnovers in his past 3 games Hopefully, no big injuries. Bishop, Milano, Samuel and Brown all went out with injuries. LETS GO BUFFALO! No_Matter_What Posted December 16 Posted December 16 (edited) Josh just sealed his MVP. Hopefully our back 7 will be healthy enough in the PO so he will have a shot at much more important MVP. Edited December 16 by No_Matter_What 1 Quote

I'll go with both of these reasons I think part of it was the desperation on the lions part Also I think the lions were way too in love with trying to run the ball on buffalo early when they should have just attacked deep all game Quote
BritBill Posted December 16 Posted December 16 That wasn’t as exciting or as nervous an ending as it seems. Other than the last couple of drives of the first half Bills were in control of the game. It was won in the first quarter. That’s the irrelevant fun games out of the way. Time to get back to the serious stuff now and see the regular season out. 2 Quote

Aussie Joe Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Lions lost this one through a combination of the slow start going down 14-0 early, and the first onside kick with 12 mins remaining which was a brain explosion from Campbell… Bills could play from in front and the Lions had to chase all game and get away from their run game …Lions still took it down to the wire .. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Don’t judge the defense based on the score. They pressured the QB, stopped the run, and made the lions one dimensional. All without their starting secondary. All those late 4th quarter scores were in frantic mode with both offenses just in a zone. Reminds me of the chiefs 2021 playoff loss. 11 4 Quote
